Where the Bards can chitchat about As The Scrolls Unroll and whatnot.

As my dear-to-my-heart character, Phalon, said, "Oh, no, no, no". First the Zena Scrolls, and then in the House of Whoosher; I will not let her....or me....get sucked into another of these stories.
Well, maybe just one post......for the time being.

Phalon. Actually, when I got the bright idea to create this forum yesterday, (yes, it just popped into my head yesterday, and i jumped right on it ... who'd a thunk it?), you were the first member to enter my head. I wondered if you would be able to resist the urge to join in.
I'm trying to decide if I should keep the old Joxcenia, or create a whole new one. And really, I'm all aghast that I did this to begin with. I'm still in awe.

Resist the urge....yeah, yeah, sure. BOLL. I wasn't going to, yanno. Was just going to ignore it, and maybe it would go away. (Damn you, Joxie.)
But it's been so long. What's it been, like two years now since Phalon and everyone else sat down at the dining room table in the House of Whoosher and haven't moved since? I hate loose ends and unfinished business. I thought about just finishing her off - Guru and I once collaborated on a couple of posts that could be altered just a bit to do just that. He and I have kept in touch; he's busy with his music, and gave me his character to do with what I wanted, keeping the character's integrity in mind. But as Scrappy knows with Dixie's character, it's hard to carry another along. Then there's my blog, and my never-ending quest to get more published than just a handful of magazine articles. So there Phalon sits, collecting dust.
I just thought I'd resurrect her just once more. And though I don't plan to stay in this story as a regular character, if you hear the whisper of a sword being unsheathed, or have a nagging thought in your head that's not your own, maybe it's just a seeress from ancient Greece passing through.

Okay, Phalon. I have joined the party. However, I have amnesia, so I've no idea where I am. Not that it's where you two are. You two could be in a totally different universe as far as I know.

Ok, I caught Phalon up to where she's following Ellie and now, Ellie and Lauri. All yours Ellie.
Oh, and Poppet - "I’m glad you’re here, Scrappy. No, really I am. I mean that." <smile>
You too, Treena of the Trees.
I'm out of here tomorrow for the better part of the week. Looking forward to reading where we're at when I get back.

Man where did you drag those up. I should probably re do them. I can do much better now. I've learned a lot over the last three years. LOL You posted it in your "Gear we can't live without...." thread on the Whoosher House board. I quoted it and posted it to a new thread, then deleted the original post. Several threads had 4 pages of chit chat I got rid of so readers/bards wouldn't have to look through it for story information.
And that's why I'm answering you here and not in the info thread.

There's no law that states both stories can't go on simultaneously. Those that are left in the story can remove themselves from those who are no longer among us.

Honey, I'm hoooome.
It seems Phalon is too. After all that time.
No forward motion in my last post, just playing a little ketchup with a dash of horseradish.
Carry Phalon along wherever you wish, but let her daydream for a while....she's been waiting so long to return to Greece, it only seems fair that she'd go off in her own little world for a bit. Before breaking into a sh!t-eating ear-to-ear grin, that is.
Besides - I've just got back from my trip and discovered the article I promised (a month ago) the garden newsletter editor is due on Friday. I haven't even started. Blah!
Ooooo, I read that Moonglum! Very much liking the possibilities it poses.
It may be kind of interesting jumping back and forth.

Very nice posts.
Phalon: I've forgotten how much fun it was when the stories were going strong. It would be kind of nice to have both stories going on. We can leave the characters no longer here in a time warp somewhere and carry on without them. Which is the post I've got growing in my head for the "Whoosher House" ... just haven't put it down on paper/document yet. Hope to have it in a day or two. Also going to try and open the door for Leara, and maybe it will draw her back to the forum.
Would it be better if I had the two story trains close together? Move this board to Art & Lit, or move "Whoosher House" to Xena / RenPics? Or move them both to their own Story Trains board?
Leave them where they are?
Comments & suggestions welcomed.

if you want to move the threads anywhere, could you move whoosher house to xena/renpics? cuz reading light font on dark background for extended periods of time really hurts my eyes. so if moving the scrolls unroll to where whoosher house is would invert the colors, i vote against that.
i don't see why you have to move anything anywhere, but that's just me.

i don't see why you have to move anything anywhere, but that's just me. I wasn't going to move the threads, just the boards. (If majority wanted them moved close together, that is.) The threads would stay on their separate boards.
And do you have Firefox on your computer? If so, you can view the Whoosher House board with it and not get the negative effect. Le fixed up the board that way, and I don't like messing with her code. I know very little about html, so I prefer to leave it alone if tinkering with it isn't necessary.
