Sorry, couldn't resist being the little stinker! For some reason the theme song from, "The Spy Who Loves Me," was in a dream I had lastnight. Now it's in my head.

Meant to Live by Switchfoot. A new cd given to me by a friend that Little Xena has taken to. I must have heard it 20 times last night, (damn the repeat feature on the cd player!). At least it is better than many of the other cds she's glommed onto, (thank you very much, friends).

Yeah when you catch it on the radio it always sticks in your head like warm bubble gum in your hair. You can never quite get it all out with out shaving something.

I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell, I know...
It's the one line from Matchbox 20's song "Unwell" that just won't leave me alone. Well, except for the other day when "I'm a lumberjack and I'm ok" messed up every other thought.
Pffff Diddy - No surprise that Little Xena glommed onto Switchfoot. Would prefer Pat Boone? Maybe Pat Boone singing Ozzy would be better.

Ah yes, Lola. Pat belting out his own rendition of Crazy Train is certainly something to imagine....in a really, really bad dream. Kinda like William Shatner singing Alice Cooper's Welcome to my Nightmare.

Currently stuck in my head: 'Sotsugyo'(Graduation) - by ZONE. (J-pop at it's J-poppy-est. Curses on internet radio!)
If you like the odd style tribute kinda thing, you might wanna check out thest guys: Dread Zeppelin Lounge Against the Machine Hayseed Dixie
If you go to amazon.com and bring up these groups there's some links that give you samples of their music. Beware, even little snippets like the sampling amazon.com gives you are insideous and may get stuck in yer head.
You have... been warned.

Trix! OMG - Richard Cheese's 'Lounge Against the Machine' is incredible!! I actually have that one. Here's one for the ladies... Just too funny. Or how bout "Slap my b**** up"? Wow, the Radiohead and Sublime songs are favorites of mine. Great stuff!!!
I made the mistake of watching VH-1 today just long enough to get some nasty songs in my head. The Most Amazing Bad Songs or something. Anywho, all day long I've been repeating "Come my lady, come come my lady" with snippets of "I would do anything for love..." thown in to break the monotomy. I actually like the latter, that epic Meatloaf song reminds me of epic Celine Dion songs, which I really like. did I just say that out loud?

Monotomy? Monotony? Mu-naht-n-ee. Ptolemy. Why can I spell Ptolemy and not that other? Monogomous? Mongoose? Ok, it's not all MON words. Come my lady, come come my lady...

Hiya Gaggi, lola & Dobs! It's been awhile. I know that mango & pinapple make me happy... I don't know that they make me hot. Just add a couple of more things and you have a nice tropical fruit salad going. Now thinking about this is bringing to mind a 'They Might be Giants' tune... but I can't quite remember it. Only the melody. Ug.. this is almost worse than getting a lyric stuck in yer head.

I am not sure who the singer is but the song I get stuck in my head most often is "Rubberband Man". There is a commercial that uses that song and once I see it the song is stuck there all day. Another song that sticks in my head is also from a commercial, but as far as I know, it doesn't have words. It's the tune the little old guy dances to in the Six Flags Park commercial.

Thanks, ReneeisXena! Your mention of Rubberband Man, reminded me of a song that for years frequently gets stuck in my head, though I have no clue why...one of those songs that Hubs will hum occassionaly just cuz he knows it'll be rolling around in my head for days. The song is Matchstick Man, released in the sixties, I think, by some band I don't recall ever knowing.
I rented a movie titled "Matchstick Men", starring Nick Cage, the other day, but never got a chance to watch it. I wonder if the song is played in the movie.
