In the interest of easy access for other Bards, here’s a glossary (Sanasán, Jisho...hehe, I crack myself up) of sorts for the foreign words used by myself and a couple others. With luck, these should be handily C&Pable for anyone looking to add a word or two to their posts (including me! :snicker ). So here goes nothin’! :)

Here is a list of all the words I’ve used (with some pronounciation...when I know it :toothy ). Those marked with a * are those other characters have actually heard:

Gaeilge = Irish Gaelic

Agus ta si (AW-gus ta she) = and this is

Aintín (ANN-cheen) = Aunt

Amharc = The Sight

*anáil = breath

*an Ghréigis = Greek (language)

Athair = Father

Bail ó Bhandia tú = Goddess bless you

*Baintreach = Widow

*Bandia (ban-GEE-uh) = Goddess

*Bandiá daoibh (ban-GEE-uh geeve) = Goddess be with you all (greating plural)

*Bandiá duit (ban-GEE-uh getch) = Goddess be with you (greeting)

*Bandroi an Cogadh (Ban-DREE an Cogeh) = Priestess of War

*Bhen Rudha (Ven ROO-ah) = Red Woman

*Cailleach = Witch

cara = friend

*coinín = rabbit

*croí (cree) = heart

*diachair = pain

díbheirg = vengence

*do = your

*Duibhfaolchú = Blackwolf

*Eascaine tú = Curse you

*fiach (FEE-ach) = raven

*fuath = hatred

gadaí = thief

*Geabach = Gabby

*go raibh maith, agat (go rah my, ah-got) = Thank you; lit. You have my thanks.

Immrama = Internal Voyage

*iníon (i NEE ehn) = daughter

is leor sin (is lore shin) = that is enough

*Laoch = Warrior

*leanbh = child

*Maidin maith (mah-GIN my) = Good morning

*Maith do mé, le do thoil (My do me, le do hall) = forgive me, please

*máthair (MAY-hair) = mother

*Máthair as an Tua = Mother of the Axe

*mo = my

namhaid = foe

*Oiche mhaith (EE-haw why) = Good night

Samhain (SAH-vin) = Celtic Fire Festival on Oct. 31st

*Seanmháthair (shawn-WHEY-hair) = Grandmother

*Slán agat = Farewell

*Solas = light

*Tá fáilte romhat (ta FAL-cha row-IT) = You’re welcome

tearmann = sanctuary

treibh (trehv) = tribe

Triréad = trio

*tua = axe

Tuaisceartach = Northern

I will of course edit more words in when/if I use them. :)

But, since my computer keeps passing out because of the heat lately I will just start with the current post and then I'll edit to include the other stuff later.

oukami = wolf (when first letter is capitalized it refers to the Wolf Spirit)
Mori-no-kami = Forest-diety
kami = god/spirit/diety
Oukami-sama = Lady Wolf

Doko ni = "where (to/at)"
Anou.. = "um.."
Hai = "yes"
Doumo Arigatou gozaimasu = "Thank You Very Much"
hakama = skirtlike pants, mainly worn by men/samurai
maiko = young 'geisha-in-training' attendants to the geisha. usually perform dances.
obi = the broad distinctive sash that wraps around a kimono at the waist.
Sou ne = "That's right"
Doushitano = "What is it?" "What's wrong?"
