Zone - In Animal Attraction when Xena finds out she's pregnant, she says she hasn't been with anyone for an extremely long time - and declares that she's a "love free zone", and there's no way she could be pregnant.

Dirt....one of the things I always thought was different on Xena: WP in comparison to most other earlier adventure/fantasy type television shows involving women, is that our girls got bloody, bruised, and dirty.
I don't think Wonder Woman ever broke a sweat....or a nail.

A good point . But then again,Wonder Woman was a superheroine, with powers no mortal had-kind of like the Olympians.
E-eager- Gabrielle's state of mind very often-as when she first wanted to join up with Xena.

One of my favorite pictures of Xena is when she's all dirty.

Fear not, we are never stuck. ZEPHYRUS: ΖΕΦΥΡΟΣ The personification of the west wind, is described by Hesiod as a son of Astraeus and Eos. Zephyrus and Boreas are frequently mentioned together by Homer, and both dwelt together in a palace in Thrace. By the Harpy Podarge, Zephyrus became the father of the horses Xanthus and Balius, which belonged to Achilles; but he was married to Chloris, whom he had carried off by force, and by whom he had a son Carpus. On the sacred road from Athens to Eleusis, there was an altar of Zephyrus. Xena needed a zephyr to get her flying parchment airborne. Obviously we get the word zephyr, meaning, ah, um, wind from this. And to start us off: ACACALLIS: ΑΚΑΚΑΛΛΙΣ Daughter of Minos, by whom, according to a Cretan tradition, Hermes begot Cydon; while according to a tradition of the Tegeatans, Cydon was a son of Tegeates, and immigrated to Crete from Tegea. Apollo begot by her a son Miletus, whom, for fear of her father, Acacallis exposed in a forest, where wolves watched and suckled the child, until he was found by shepherds who brought him up. Other sons of her and Apollo are Amphithemis and Garamas. Apollodorus calls this daughter of Minos Acalle (Akallê), but does not mention Miletus as her son. Acacallis was in Crete a common name for a narcissus. Foreshadowing Romulus and Remus? We need a thread on myths: I love them because they so clearly reflect humans’ needs for a past, continuity with that past, a history, and so many conflicting human desires – the wish for a static past combined with the need to experience change (movement); the need to feel the existence of a power greater than that of humans and the need to feel empowered; the need to maintain societal order while always reinventing society. I swear they are addicting…. FYI: the reason the letter Z, zeta, is so hard to use is because the non-Greek spelling was most often DZ. So the word Amazon, for example, should really be spelled Amadzon.

We need a thread on myths: Start one. There might be enought interest, and you might attract more or new posters. At the very least you'll expand our knowledge of mythology. And don't worry about Phalon - she was mything the point of your post. See? Already I'm learning something! Thanks! Bounty - in It Takes One To Know One a bounty hunter was after Xena.
