Phalon! Too bad you can't stay to play - but I understand about 'slow computer' problems. Have a good week!
Hi to you too Yingyang!

2 members, and 8 guests - I still am posting for two, it seems. I wonder how long this is goting to last; nine months is typical, I suppose.
Looks like I missed Siren this morning. Hope you have a great Monday, Siren.
You have a great week too, Stepper. Maybe one day we'll be on-line at the same time, and both have time to play.
I planted my herb garden yesterday, Moonglum. I hope I'm not jumping the gun, and putting them in too early. Our "safe" time to plant the more tender things here is considered the end of May, when typically the danger of frost is over.
Actually, I have got a lot done this spring in spurts, Vox....but I've got much more to do. I'm revamping two of the beds this year, as well as reconfiguring the vegetable garden. Hauled in a bunch of mulch - as much as my pickup can hold. One wheel-barrow load at a time, brought it down the ravine hill to spread in the garden down there; yesterday I moved a yard and a half of it - I have no idea what a yard equates in metric measurements. Back-breaking work.
The weather hasn't been cooperating much - cold, rainy, and windy, so it's been slow going. Who wants to work outside in their yard in that kind of weather....especially when they're outside all day in it at work. Uhm....speaking of which, looks like it's going to be that kind of day today, and I'd better get going!

Madam P will be AWOL for a while. Her mom passed away this morning.

Phalon Hugs and prayers my friend. Tons of sympathy and truck loads (a real measurement in Texas) of friendly support. You know I can't be there physically, but in my heart I'm right there with you all the way.

I'm so very sorry for your loss, Gams. As hard as it is to lose someone you love, I know that sometimes death is a blessing. The family and friends are in my prayers.
Scrappy, you could have started a new thread if you had wanted. But here is fine.

Thanks, Poppet, Stepper, and Joxie.
Mom was a great lady - a sweetheart; it's something I've always known but I heard the same thing echoed over and over again this weekend by people who she touched throughout her life. It made me smile each and every time I heard it.
There was happiness along with the sadness these last few days, and there were a lot of family and friends to share it with. They were very long days, though, and it's good to be back home.

No problem Mini-Mia. I'm used to being invisible to management and administrators.

Yes, I'm appearing more close up these days - bigger and better Gams (courtesy of Joxie).
Maybe I should actually shave them now, since they can be seen more clearly.
