I have a mattress pad covering the mattress, and I'm finding that I like the feel of it and the blanket on top. Sheets are cool to the touch when I first get into bed, and it takes a while to warm them up. But then when I move, I have to warm the new spot up all over again. I'm seriously wondering if I want to get sheets at all, and if I don't, what should I use in their place. (Or I may get flannel sheets? ) I have to get a new mattress pad too. This one is electric, and the one control won't stay on, so I unplugged it and removed the electronics, should they be faulty enough to start a fire. I'll either get another electric mattress pad, or opt for an electric blanket and a regular mattress pad.

My brother and his wife both prefer flannel sheets - all year. I've never tried 'em myself.

I must be weird because I not only don't mind, I prefer to smoosh the corn into the mashed potatoes - except for creamed corn. Those times I don't usually smoosh.
