Thanks Jox, figured I could rely on you to find out what's available.
I'm with you Siren when it comes to Third Watch, although I've still got at least one [ hopefully more ] seasons to look forward to.

I saw an ad for Beauty & The Beast DVDs... but they're DVD-Rs... so I'm guessing they're copies made from television broadcasts.... stealing, in other words... so I don't think I'll be gettin' 'em.
[Edited: Yeah, they're from the TV... commercials have been edited out, and menus were created... so I'll pass...]

Well, I'd definitely buy up the Beauty and the Beast ones.
Actually the one I'd really like is a short British series called "Squawkie Talkie". It was hilarious! CLips of animals from nature films dubbed over with comic dialogue. Some of it was amazing, particularly the recurring Constable Beetle of Scotland Yard.
After that I'd love to have some really old classics on DVD. Family Affair Courtship of Eddie's Father The Lucille Ball Show Maude
And many others.

You're right, Mia. I mean, without "The Beauty", what was the point of continuing the series at all? A sad ending to a memorable show.
BTW, looking at the cover of the B&B dvds, I don't recall ever seeing that pic before. Cool!

Who were the idiots that pulled the best show technically, photographically and the best actors on TV anywhere!!! *Sniff* Aw, leafsoup, I love "Third Watch", too, as does katina. I still miss it so much! battleon, as a kid, I was a "Charlie's Angels" fan, too. Wanted so much to be like Kris, Cheryl Ladd's character. I even had a satin baseball jacket like her. But I find that that show has aged terribly. The fashions, the plots, the dialogue, and some of the attitudes - all hard for me to watch. Maybe it has a kitschy appeal for some folks. I wish it did for me!

See you're still pining for that show Siren, and you as well Leafsoup, and quite rightly so. At the moment I'm getting all I can handle of it, the early episodes [ 2002 I think ] are on five nights a week on Foxtel, and it's just started again on one of the free to air channels with the later eps, so six shows a week ain't to bad.

That's good news, you'll be in "Third Watch" heaven I imagine. Are they the real early seasons, I think we're in about 2002 here at the moment, with the storyline where Carlos is accused of assaulting a young girl in the ambulance.
Just finished watching the newer episode on free to air about an hour ago, it was the one with Helen Mirren guest starring, what a class act, even in a fairly small role she just exudes class.

The A&E network has apparently stopped showing "Third Watch". And I haven't found another network showing it yet. I hope someone is!

Mia, "Beauty and the Beast, Season 2" is now available. Wooohooo! And do you know, Linda Hamilton apparently did some commentary for it? That surprised me.

The new Fall Season will be upon us soon, here in the US. Keep an eye out and let me know which shows you think are good enough for a board of their own. Thanks.

Just watched the first episode of "Shark" the other night, starring James Woods. Very much doubt it's going to become a regular on my schedule, his character is just to "in your face" for my liking, may give it one more try but am not holding out much hope.

The commercials didn't draw me in. I haven't seen any of the shows. Having said that, if enough members were interested in it I'd certainly create a board for it.
