But the sun didn't go out. It's just not able to shine it's rays there due to the way the earth is tilted. The sun still continues to shine, even though it can't be seen. Even now, the moon is reflecting the sun's rays, even though I can't see the sun. And the moon is being covered by storm clouds moving in.

Yeah yeah sure sure. And next you'll be saying the earth isn't flat.

It's a ball that spins in a circle, yet never bounces nor knocks over anything. It's rotates around and around, being slammed into every now and again by flying debris. Thankfully none of that debris has been big enough to do much damage, other than that one time ... and that was a good thing, since it wiped out the top of the food chain and allowed us humans to reign supreme.

A ball? You sound like Columbus who didn't know where he was going, didn't know where he was when he got there, and couldn't tell people where he'd been when he got back. If it spun, things would either fall off when it turned upside down or they'd fly off the sides due to centrifugal forces. And, if you're talking about the dinosaurs, the latest science says they died off before the supposed asteroid strike.

The moon uses magic to keep everything from flying out into space. An invisible force field of some type. You can't see it nor feel it but it holds you down.

Moon magic? "I can hold a cup of sake on a full moon in Japan, and the reflection of the moon in that little cup can make me feel so enthusiastic about beauty. That one good, magical moment can give me enough to create other things like the teardrop earring or necklace." Elsa Peretti So, to work 'moon magic' you gotta be drunk! And more often than not, drunk people are usually not looking at the sky when the term 'moon' comes up in conversation.
"Don’t hold yourself down with things you can’t control."
Personally I think the underside is a special magnet that holds us down by pulling on the iron in our systems (or @ss - take your pick). Want to lose weight? Lose the excess iron in your system - and how easy is that!

Iron? Are you sure it isn't lead? Lead would explain why some people are cray-cray. It poisons their mind.

Well, no. But iron tends to accumulate in the brain and the gluteus maximus. That's why people affected by Hemochromatosis (a condition that causes the body to absorb and store too much iron) are known as buttheads. Hopefully I ironed that out for you.

Tons of construction in the house, on the street, and in the town. Internet connection seems to be hit or miss at the moment...or something's up. The doors are locked, so I can only look in with my face pressed up against the window, stalker-like.

Internet is driving me crazy. On ... Off ... On ... Off ... It's only small brief windows of on. Troubleshoot can't make up its mind. It's "Wireless Adapter/Access Point" Problems, which it fixes over and over and over and over ... for brief moments. and then there's a DNS problem.
I have no problems on my phone, so I don't know what has changed to cause this problem out of the blue. A 2-minute drill had me checking to see if my adapters were allowed to be shut off to save energy ... and they were, so I turned that off, but it didn't fix the problem.

Well, it's been mostly on for the last hour or so, but very slow going. Having to refresh the page/s many times to get it/them to load.
Tomorrow, if this problem persists, I'll hook up to the Ethernet.

I had a similar problem this weekend - the Internet didn't go down, but was extremely slow. Thought it could be the weather - still have DSL and the lines are above ground.
It happens a lot in the summer too during tourist season - too many users and the Internet goes in and out during peak usage hours as well as does cell service.

Well, my phone company has been working on the internet for the past couple of months to upgrade for a faster connection, and to allow choices for more than the one company for internet service. For 5 or 6 nights per week the internet would be shut off from midnight to 5am, and then it was announced that Thursday they would be done, and Friday my nightmare began. It just happen to coincide with me rebooting my router and modem, so I wasn't sure where the problem was coming from. I've been rebooting repeatedly over the weekend, and also troubleshooting. Troubleshooting sometimes fixed the problem for a few seconds/minutes, and then I'd be offline again.
I rebooted a few times today, and everything seems to be working fine since the last one. Seems faster too. Really hoping it sticks.

Glad it seems to be straightened out!
I expect this weekend's service to be spotty; it's Ice Breaker weekend which typically brings in a lot of tourists. Internet then usually is off and on during the mornings and evenings - just like during summer when people are in their hotel rooms instead of out and about around town.
I imagine our town to be somewhat like where you live - the service isn't as strong as it needs to be. Although we have more than one provider, they've been upgrading the towers for a couple of years now to accommodate the increase in population (typically over the summer months). A perfect example is down by the lake - normally cell phone service there is fine, unless the weather is beautiful and everyone is at the beach; then you can't even get a signal. Fourth of July or Labor Day weekend? Forget it.

Several years ago, when the phone company was replacing my outdated modem, I was told that in a couple of years the whole county would have a community wifi ... that I could walk out in the fields/woods and still have wifi access. It hasn't happened yet, but I'll be happy when it does. I'd be able to have wifi whenever I'm at my Mom's house going through her stuff. I could take my laptop for breaks.
Probably won't happen until long after Mom's house has been gone through and cleaned out.

Well, shoot. I'm sorry you're still having problems after it seemed to be working fine the other day.
How's that going? Are you making any progress, or have you decided to wait for a while?

Still suffering with the internet.
My sister isn't ready to go through it all yet, so we're leaving it as it is. Maybe in a few months, when the weather is a wee bit warmer, and stays there, I'll start going through all the drawers and whatnot, keeping important papers and tossing the rest. Still haven't finished cleaning out the on refrigerator. It's nasty, and I'm procrastinating.
I'm wanting to have an auction company come in for the old beds and stuff, but my sister won't hear of it. She says we'll just do a yard sale. Us doing a yard sale seems like far more work for us than letting the auction people take over.

Stuff to keep, whether you plan on a yard sale, an auction, or even selling on Ebay or a similar site: anything branded (advertising), anything from the 50s to include clothing (mid-century modern is hot right now), anything from the 70s (retro is just as hot), Tupperware (that is marked Tupperware, especially the vintage stuff), quality hand-sewn anything, anything that can be used in anyway in Steampunk art (I suggest on-line selling for these items). Even whole drawers full of junk, for example, can be sold on Ebay.
Things that don't sell - old books; they are even hard to donate because there are just so many of them out there. Same thing with things that were once considered "collectibles" for the same reason (Hummels, Precious Moments, etc.)
I did both with Mom and Mike's things and yes, the auction or estate sale is a whole lot easier! You probably will make money per item at the yard sale, but the goal of having an estate sale is to get rid of stuff in one fell swoop, so they come in and price things to sell quickly. There are advantages and disadvantages to both.

Yeah. I kind of figure both would have their pros and cons. I like the idea of having it done. My sister is probably dreading the work, as much as letting go. As long as it's left like it is, it feels like Mom is on vacation, and she'll be back soon. I really don't want to do it either, but I want it done, and in order for it to be done, we have to do it.
Maybe it's easier for me to think about getting it done because I'm at Mom's house every day to feed the cats. I don't know if the house being empty would be easier on me or not. Maybe it would be too final. I walk in and the house isn't much different from the last time she lived there, other than I've moved some things around, and I have the kitchen frig open in order to clean it.
I gotta get it together. Time moves on, and I gotta get back on board.

Yeah. The frig isn't gonna clean itself, and the nasty is just going to get harder to clean off.
My phone company posted an apology on Facebook for the upgrade work having caused so much trouble, and are going to upgrade customer's internet service for free. Don't know if that means they're done, or if it's an incentive to keep us patient. Which is good customer service considering part of the upgrade was to allow other services to come in and give them competition.
