Hello Carolinatexan; nice to meet you. You are certainly right: family are the best gifts! Friends too. And speaking of gifts, this just in for Siren.

I got invited to a ball? I got to play dress up? I was the best looking girl there? *faint*
Um....can I leave the ball early to hang out with my "charming" in the coach?
*clapping wildly* How cool is that!

For Katina... Looks a teensy bit scary there, Katina. (are Elves supposed to comment when dropping off gifts?) "I think you may have need of one of these at some point..."

For Scrappy on day five, a cheery gift.
"For Scraps,
With the winter coming, I am sending one bouquet of flowers each day..to brighten your day. Yep, I said each day. It might be a potted plant since (that still counts as flowers). Just imagine after a hard day at work, on your way home you can pretend what lovely bloom awaits you. "

Scrappy, because I'm nearly ready to leave, here is your last gift....and remember, I'm just the messenger. LMAO. <ducks> " Now this is a gift that will keep on giving and you can save some for next year, because it will last that long. I heard on the tv tonight that it has so much sugar in it..it keeps the bacteria down. Chomp..chomp..chomp. You could however re-gift this one and I wouldn't be the least bit upset. Your Secret Santa, Leafsoup."

This has been fun; I enjoy elfdom. Thank you all for participating; hope you enjoyed it also. And Poppet, I couldn't have done it without you, Fairest Deputy.
I'm outta here.
Everything henceforth should be directed Scrappy's way.
Merry Christmas!

Ok...it's after midnight my time...and as Deputy Elf it is my duty to drop off the last of the gifts....as a favor for those who won't be around or feel they aren't as computer friendly...here goes..... For Siren....from your Santa Maeve For you Leafsoup,
An art studio painted in warm colors with a glazed concrete floor to match; one brick wall with a fire blazing in the fireplace, jazz music playing not too loud, but just right, and a bunch of people with overflowing wallets, coming in to chat, listen to music, talk about…and buy art.
Merry Christmas from Your Secret Santa Collaborative Team: Myself the Elf and Deputy Elf Moppet, and the Absent, but Ever-Lovely X-Virgin. And for my buddy Kat.....enjoy. I know you miss it as much as I do. I ran out of boxes...but if you look real close through the wreath.....you'll see it.....

Rocketbusters AND a Nudie shirt?? Man, man, Santa Maeve - you really know how to stuff a stocking! And the trip to see Miss Dolly would be the star on the Christmas tree. Thank you for all the gifts, and the thought that went into them.
Happy, happy holidays!

For Katina... Looks a teensy bit scary there, Katina. (are Elves supposed to comment when dropping off gifts?) "I think you may have need of one of these at some point..." You're right Lady P, does look a touch intimidating, but with the beautiful snow to operate it in I'm going for it, just have to lay off the Liqueur I received earlier, wouldn't want to be under the influence while operating that puppy. A big [ make that a huge ] thank you for the great gifts Secret Scrappy Santa, and as Siren said, also for the thought that went into them. P.S. Ya made a great deputy Scrappy.

Hope you've recovered, Scrappy. Your egg-noggin feeling any better today? My Elf bag is starting to fill. Remember Santas, I will start passing out the gifts tomorrow - just a elfin reminder. So far the bag contains from, (not for), three gifts from Leafsoup, two from Scrappy, and two from Siren. Katina, I know, is diligently working on choosing just the perfect things. I haven't heard from Maeve or X-Virgin yet. Merry Christmas ALll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe it, the first opportunity I've had to get on line in weeks is on Christmas Day??? Thanks for all the Channuka wishes and Hag Semeach (a joyful feast) to you all for the holiday period, from my Lady Wife Jane and I. Thanks sooooo much for all these wonderful pressies!! Scrappy that batch was delicious, I think you may have spilt some egg nog in them though! And the Miracle Whip is tucked safely away ready for Turkey sandwiches while I watch Tootsie on Boxing Day! You Guys Rock! I messed up a bit on the Secret Santa oh Madam elf, and sent my pressie to Leafsoup direct. Doh So she did get her pressie. Loved the trees and the Chanukkia Scrappy, you are an artist indeed indeed. We're doing both Channuka and Christmas this year as we're entertaining both my family and my mother - in - law. So I must be off to stuff a bird. And so to finish, although our presents have been"virtual" to each other, just to let you know that there is someone out there who has received a "real" present - on behalf of my buddies "The Whooshite Posse" the following have been purchased through the OxfamUnwrapped Christmas Appeal Training one Health Worker Training of one Teacher 100 school meals for children Providing safe drinking water for 100 people providing 2 Alpacas to farmers I'll try to scan the certificate so you can all see. God grant you Peace and Joy and Contentment for the New Year All! With Love XV
