And for Vox!
And BTW: Both the Chocolate Pizza and the Magnum Bars are a lifetime supply.
I don't know if they deliver to the UK, but here's where I got the Chocolate Pizza image from.
3 Sisters Chocolate: Chocolate Pizza
You can do a search and see if a store near where you live sells them though.

Ok, Scrappy - here is your second gift. I am thinking, once you open it, and see how beautiful, you'll forget about having to wait for it, (I'm hoping so, anyway....I got it to the wrapping department a bit late).

Hello, amigos and amigas - sorry I've been away. But many, many thanks to my Secret Santa. What terrific gifts! True classics. A first edition "Tom Sawyer"? I am impressed! And, wow - Tracy & Hepburn. You can't go wrong there. I've never seen that photo of them before. How cool! Thank you all for the thought that went into my gifts, and for the efforts in delivering them.

Time for my unmasking as Secret Santa to....... Katina! I'm glad you've liked them, my friend. I figured the Roger Ebert book would give me away. But what the heck - I wanted you to have it. And picture the "Mohicans" poster beautifully framed, because that's how I intended it for you. Now, I have just one more gift for you, that also should be framed, if only to protect it from any errant droplets of drool... May your holidays be bright, katina. All my best! ~Siren

Ok, all you Santas.....have you all received and passed out your final gifts? I know Vox and Moonglum haven't....and they are waiting in their in-boxes, wrapped and ready, with delivery instructions. I could pass them out, but want to give them a chance to do it if they'd prefer - and with the time-zone difference, family gatherings and such, I've got no idea when either of them will have a chance to get back in here again. I'll wait until this evening, and if no word is heard on their end, I'll post the two remaining gifts.
I must apologize for all the confusion - things getting misplaced somewhere between the time I sent the gifts to our ever-so-lovely Wrapping Elves, and the time I received the gifts back, wrapped so lovely. I know one gift - Secret Santa Moonglum's that did not make it back to his pm box until this morning; entirely my fault. And also the confusion about how exactly to post the last gift - copying and pasting the wrapped boxes is just a bit more technical than just copying and pasting the wrapped boxes.
Maybe - and most likely - it was just me that was confused. Discombobulated - a great word, Uberfan, and one that perfectly describes Myself the Elf.
I hope everyone enjoyed doing this as much as I did - despite all the confusion, it was great fun on my end. Many, many thanks to our lovelies - Elfin Poppet, and Elf Joxie; without your help (very patient help), all the gifts wouldn't even have had so much as a plain brown wrapper and would have appeared naked instead of dressed in all their holiday finery.
And thanks to all who participated. Your thoughtfulness in carefully choosing those special gifts for special people is amazing!
Merry, Merry Christmas!!!!

All my best! ~Siren *Gulp* You do know my weaknesses don't you Siren, luckily I took the hint and kept my distance while opening it, so it's still in pristine condition and free of any drool, I'll frame it immediately to make sure it stays that way. You're right, I had an inkling it may have been you, but that doesn't matter in the least, the gifts were all excellent, and with a lot of thought behind them. The Roger Ebert book has pride of place in my bookcase, the [ framed ] LOTM poster hangs in the study right alongside my "Geelong, Premiers 2007" poster, and Uma *gulp* again, well I'm sure I can think of somewhere appropriate for that, matter of fact the spot right above the computer looks the ideal spot. A big thank you, and an equally big wish that your Christmas is everything you hope for and more.

MG, thank you! Such lovely gifts, with much consideration behind them. I really appreciate them all.
The sweet almond tree is a wonderful treat. I bet the blossoms smell divine. I can't think of a nut tree here that has pretty blossoms like that. So, I surely hope this exotic new friend takes to our Okie soil.
I hope you have a wonderful holiday, bountiful in good times with those you love.
And as for you, katina, you are most welcome. I am grateful for you, and all my Whooshite friends!

Ooooh. A plane. I've always wanted my own plane. Off to take flying lessons.
Hi Joxie, sorry it's late but what with the family arriving and all, things are a bit hectic here.
Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you and your family.
No problem, Vox. Anticipation is the best part.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too. And Happy Boxing Day. I know that's a holiday for this time of year in the UK, but I can't remember if it comes around/after Christmas or the New Year. I believe it has something to do with switching places for the day, or some such.
Sorry, we don't have that over here, so I'm not up on all the details.
Oooh. A quick search and I see it's Dec. 26th. More searching and I see no mention of switching places, so I must have that confused with another holiday I know little about.

I'm burning the 'past midnight oil' this end.
Boxing Day was 'invented' or started by Prince Albert, consort to Queen Victoria. He started the tradition of giving presents to loved ones on the day after Christmas Day, as this was a holy day. He also was the person acredited with having a 'tree' at christmas for the family to gather around.

Oooh. Presents two days in a row sounds good to me.
So, I wonder what holiday it is where people switch positions? Or perhaps someone was pulling my leg.

I think a degree of 'leg-pulling' is going on here Joxie.

I guess so. I could have sworn I was told that Boxing Day was where servants/employees switched places with the bosses/employers for one day.

Hey MM, the ancient Roman holiday Saturnalia was supposed to be celebrated by everyone switching places for the day, and Christmas is celebrated on the same day as Saturnalia (I've heard the early Christians moved the day to correspond to the pagan holiday), maybe that's what you're thinking of?
