Aww, thanks, ILB! Hey! Maybe everyone should get Freewebs accounts, and we can teach everyone how to put up a website to share their art and con pics, etc.

I'm glad you do that. Otherwise it would be like walking around with broccoli stuck in my teeth, so thanks! Actually... HTML = General Math CSS = Algebra Javascript,PHP = Geometry I haven't quite advanced to trigonometry yet. Cracking. No, there will be no Cracking 101, unless you're talking about cracking nuts. There's no need to set up another board and make everyone register another account. We can just set up a few threads here in the Help forum, and pin up a separate "index" thread with links to all of them. Then again, we could always do a registration-not-required board for it, and only disclose the link to members...

Oooh! Or create a board and delete the category to hide it... ...then PM the link to members.

Sorry, ILB, just saw your post. Would you be a student, a teacher, or both? Jox, do you think having the board visible only to members would make them more interested in participating, or are you just looking for an excuse to use that hidden board trick?

It was worth a shot...
Actually, having it in public might draw in more members.

Jox Yep, I think making it public would draw in more members. Yay, ILB! I'll put something together and get this thing started.

Is there ever a chance of getting a Joxer smiley? It could be interesting if not comical.....

I'm sure that could be arranged. Do you have a particular Joxer pic in mind that I can shrink down?

I uploaded a bunch of images at the Whoosh MSN Group. Some can be used for the House of Whoosher, as emoticons, and for this Halloween. The emoticons start on line two of this page. (bdayparty) And the 'Whoosher' images start at the top of this page. There's a trick to getting them to show up in posts, which is posted in the "How To" Thread.

If you see anything you like in the above links, either upload them to your own storage site and link to them from your site, or you can ask us to upload them and add them to the forum's smileys list. If anyone here doesn't know the policy on hotlinking other people's images, please read the post that explains it. There is a link to that post at the top of the main page.

Check out this page to see what to type to add a smiley... I don't normally quote an entire post but feel it necessary this time. When I click on your link, I get about 5 warnings and no Emoticons ...

Aw. I missed something. Thank you for pointing it out to me.
That is Lesa's website, and the images used to be stored at Whoosh's MSN group. MSN got rid of their groups, so I had to move the images to Photobucket. I don't have access to Lesa's domain, so I decided to just create a board and use threads to display the emoticons and the 'code' used to use them in posts.
I probably should tell Lesa she can take all the Whoosh emoticon stuff down now that we no longer use it.
