I got this error tonight because the time switched suddenly and my last two posts had 'supposedly' been made an hour into the future. It was 3:00am CST, and my last post had 4:21am... and I was unable to make any posts until after 4:21am...
If any of you get the above error message... check the time above the board against the time of your very last post. If your last post was made in the future... ...you will have to wait until that time comes and goes before you can make another post.

The board is now showing two hours earlier than it should for me as well, but the immediate posting problem appears to be fixed. I wonder if it was only happening for the 2 hours (+/-) immediately following this odd time change. I just hope that this isn't what we have to look forward to when they upgrade. Maybe it's just my experience with ezboard speaking that has me worried. If anyone experiences more problems where they're unable to post, you may keep updated with the progress by clicking this link to ProBoards support. It appears that the problem only occurred at certain boards, and you will probably even be able to post there (separate registration required, which only takes a minute or so because it's automatic there), but chances are there will already be threads there to inform you of what's going on. There is also a search feature at all ProBoards, so you can try searching there for the word "flood" (if you get the same "Flood detected" message that Jox posted) and only check the box next to "Support Board" to find posts related to the subject. I have to work today (no internet access), otherwise I would just tell everyone to email me if they have problems with this. But since I have no control over this particular problem anyway, official ProBoards Support will be able to help you better than I could in this case. I just hope this problem is truly fixed like it seems to be.

Yeah.... I think that this error was due to the time change, and it shouldn't effect anyone unless the time should change again. If that does happen, all you have to do is wait until the time of your last post (the one you made in the future ) comes and goes in order to post again.

The only problem I have with that whole explanation is... well, I have two problems with it. First, daylight savings time ended on Halloween, not on the 9th of November. Second, the problem lasted for two hours, not one. But oh well, as long as it's working now!
