Television you say? I don't even know what is on anymore. I get to see an ep or two of a show a month with my schedule. Tonight I got to see Joan of Arcadia...at least that is what I was listening to, while I was googling for school.

SBS is showing the films of Stanley Kubrick at the moment, one or two a week. A Clockwork Orange, 2001 A Space Odessey and Lolita have already screened, with Barry Lyndon on this sunday.
A great filmmaker, and this gives me a chance to catch up on his works, plus see those that i've never seen before [ Barry Lyndon, Full Metal Jacket, and hopefully Eyes Wide Shut ]
Also watching the early episodes of The West Wing and Minder on Foxtel, plus Without a Trace on regular tele.
Am also '' pigging out '' on plenty of the greatest sport on earth at the moment, Aussie rules.

Network TV has gotten so bad in recent years that I'll hardly ever watch it any more. Things that I still watch are Boston Red Sox and New York Mets baseball, but aside from those, I normally watch only DVD's.

Well, my tv viewing is as follows: Charmed, Tru Calling (Since Angel went off the air).
But what am I watching right now? Relic on HBO. I loved the novel it was based on by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child which have become my all time favorite authors and can keep me up all night reading one of their novels. The characters that appear in The Relic novel appear again in other novels. Agent Pendergast seems to be the key character in their novels lately. I highly recommend Thunderhead (but read The Relic to understand who some of the characters are that appear) for the characters from Thunderhead cross over into The Cabinet of Curosities. Um yeah...fan much here! ;D

Are you a Sox fan mjhennessey? I'm a huge Redsox fan! Funny you've mentioned the Mets too, cause I sorta follow them as well, because their farm team the Norfolk Tides, are from close to were I live. Network TV has gotten so bad in recent years that I'll hardly ever watch it any more. Things that I still watch are Boston Red Sox and New York Mets baseball, but aside from those, I normally watch only DVD's.

I've been watching the new seasons of "Monk" and "The Dead Zone". I also started watching "North Shore" on Fox, and starting next Sunday, July 11th, I will be watching the new sci-fi series "The 4400" on the USA Network. During the day, I watch one soap opera..."All My Children". I've watched that for 30+ years.

I LOVE CSI, the original only. I also watch Monster House, Big, Inuyasha, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and South Park. I also watch the WRC when it's on, if you don't know what that is ask me and I'll tell you.

The WRC is The World Rally Championship. You take road worthy cars and trick them out totally and then run them on real roads. The roads can be tarmac, gravel, mud, snow, ice or whatever comes along. They race in any kind of weather all over the world. It is more exciting than anything. Imagine going around hairpins turns at 70 mph with nothing but a sheer 100 foot drop on one side and a mountain on the other. If you want to know more go to www.wrc.com, you will be hooked from the first time you see it. Some of the rally drivers aren't bad to look at either. Trust me this stuff is Great!

Are they suicidal? I think sky diving would be safer, and exhiliarating enough in itself. I'm sure it's not as exhiliarating to watch sky diving, though.

I'm mostly watching Xena S3 and Firefly on DVD. ;D We're also just getting the last few eps of 24 series 3, so I've been watching those (even though I've already seen them). And I also watch WRC. ;D And F1, but then that's more than a little boring at the moment.

Wow!! how cool you like the WRC!! My hubby loves it and got me into watching it and I dig it!! We were just complaining yesterday about there not being enough races and only one in the US!! I think they should start advertising the sport as EXTREME racing! Cause it surely is!! Im rooting for Petter!! heh heh

West Wing, Gilmore Girls, X-Files in reruns now from beginning to get idea of long-term story... seasons 1 and 2 not all that good overall it turns out. Doctor Who in prep for its comeback in a few months. Red Dwarf, Futurama. Just went through all my Dark Shadows tapes in frighteningly short time. for first time in my life, not even one current sitcom I like.
I am totally baffled by the interest anyone could have in "reality" shows, including Cops, judge shows, also. The "scripted" shows are about cops and doctors, two groups I really don't want to look at.

I forgot Conan. He just got a lot better lately. He's really sharp for the first time since Andy Richter left. And that heart bypass made Letterman funnier. Put that in the comedy handbook why don't you. Almost die and get funny.

i need to ask what the opposed screwdrivers and rotating chakram mean. The two screwdrivers are Gabrielle's sias... and I suppose that Eirene just happens to like these objects, so she uses them as borders to her replies.

You got right. joxie...! ;D It´s a symbol for me, that some people or things must be together. That they alredy exist only together in a memory of history. (like Merlin & Nimoe, like Queen Eirene - she was the sister of Merlin too & Mira, like Hercules & Deaneira OR like Xena & Gabb) I hope that my explanation is good enough for you...! ;D Eirene

Nickelodeon UK started showing Blossom last week, which I've been watching. I remember this being quite good from when it was first on years ago, but I've been really enjoying seeing it again. I guess it was probably quite groundbreaking in its day (1991 it started) for having a female lead in a sitcom (although Roseanne was going by then).
And I've also found out today that Parmount Comedy are showing Soap next week. Yaay! ;D
