Howdy Sabs, welcome aboard, always nice to see a new face here.
Big fan of Monk also, how are you finding it now that Sharona has been replaced, still just as good?

Wow, thanks for the welcome, guys. I'm sure I'll find tis place quite pleasant. Well, I always enjoyed seeing Sherona being kind of tough and angry all the time with monk, and I wasn't happy at first, but after a few episodes of the replacement I guess the changes weren't all that bad. I still kind of miss Sherona a little though, every time the name's mentioned. Yes, even though most of the time Whose Line are reruns, it is a hilarous show!! Ryan is SOO funny, especially when he picks on Collin. I watched two episodes last night on ABC Family.

I'll be sure to check around, but my terrible AOL NEVER seems to load forums, so I may not get much roaming around done.

My newly discovered favourite series is Dead Like Me. Hadn't seen the first series, but about half way through the second, but I understand it's cancelled already.

Does anyone watch "The Ellen Degeneres Show"?? I think she is the coolest...making people laugh & spreading "feel-good" all over the land. I liked her before it was cool to like her, too....loved her stand-up....

Q: Ellen is one of my Favs. I always look in the audience for people I know. Did you catch the ep a couple weeks ago when the older gentleman just stood there like a stiff while everyone else was dancing. I think she named him "Carl" I laughed so hard and also had a little horror movie chill run through my bones.
Maybe that is what made you think to watch Friday the 13th

Caught part of what I guess was Kevin Smith's last completed role on SciFi this weekend..."Riverworld"...small part as "Valdemar"--villian with really bad dreadlocks. He gets killed by Emperor Nero. Great shot of him in his warlord throne with leg over arm--almost the same as in "The Furies"... Hard to believe its been over three years....

true true. Time flies. I remember when Z and I heard the news. I hope his family is doing well.
I just finished watching SVU...Guess I didn't miss the finale after all. Episode was true to life with all the bull to sift through to find the truth and then the gag orders and federal restrictions protecting the people that are supposed to be watching our soldier's backs. Sad thing is that I have witnessed less extreem cases first hand...coming home with totally different personalities. I'm not sure what is on the late night movie agenda.

Good thing the kid didn't know that. She spent the afternoon at the movies watching the latest Star Wars Movie. She said it was good and dark.

Two finales this week have left me with some major heartburn... Charmed & NCIS...
I'm gonna be eating a lot of antiacid this summer.

GP....saw a version of Moulin Rouge this morning from 1952 with Jose Ferrer & Zsa Zsa Gabor....didn't know it existed....might be an alternative to daughter's addiction...altho....the reviews sucked for this John Huston production & for Ms. Gabor's performance. However, the film received seven Acadamy Award noms....trivia for the day....lol

Very interesting info. I am trying to picture the cop slapping zsa-zsa attempting to carry a tune with that accent. Daaaallling....
We got a couple new DVD's Diabolique starring the one and only Sharon Stone and Perfect starring Jamie Lee and John Travolta. I love it when they are bargain priced, so I can buy verses rent.

I believe that was the last of my shows to have their finale, so my week shouldn't get any worse.
If you ever catch up to this ep, you'll understand the pain I'm in.

So Alias was that bad was it? I am sorry. I lost interest after the first season. Once the grrl kisses the boy I think the show is pretty much over. Hard to fantasize when that happens. Hehe Not really I just never found the time to watch, and once the stations confuse me by chaging air times I have a hard time keeping up. Feel free to vent there Joxcie. *offers a nice pretty pink glass of pepto for your trouble*

Spoiler Alert!
Vaughn asked Syd to marry him... she said yes... Mom told Vaughn that if he didn't want their marriage to end up like hers & Jack's to tell Syd the truth...
So... Vaughn and Syd are in a car going somewhere discussing the upcoming wedding... Vaughn tells Syd he needs to tell her something, that he can't have this secret between them... it wasn't an accident that she was sent to him and that he was her handler... he isn't "Michael Vaughn"... and then another car comes out of nowhere and slams into the driver side (Vaughn is driving)... and the show goes off.

Wow! I don't even watch Alias and that sounds harsh.
My family is really into the Gilmore Girls (and I catch en ep with them every so often) and the season finale for that show totally had us screaming "NO! NOT THREE MONTHS TO KNOW!" It was awful.
I don't really watch a lot of TV. There's not been any show that I've watched regularly since "Angel" went off the air a year or two ago. Sad, Sad, Sad.
