hey guys...just wanted to ask if anyone knows how to remove Home Search Assistant. I've tried just about every spyware/adware remover known to man. I also tried to run the "Uninstall" option for it, but of course it "can't be found". Nothing seems to work! I really don't want to have to run system recovery and lose everything, so if anyone knows of any other option, please let me know! Thanks, Tara

Sorry I've been away so long, TXF09. If you still haven't gotten rid of the Home Search Assistant, try this link. There are a lot of suggestions, but a lot of people seem to have had success with response #6. If you don't have experience with editing the registry and what-not, you might want to have someone more experienced do it, because deleting the wrong files can be a very bad thing. If you succeed in removing it but it still shows up in your add/remove programs, then go to this link to fix that. I hope you already got rid of the nasty adware, but if not, I hope this helps.
