NOTE: Act 2 is twice as big as Acts 1 & 3, so it should contain 18 chapters, not 9. Nine chapters before the Midpoint, and nine chapters after the Midpoint. There are two parts of Act 2: Act 2a [Midpoint] Act 2b. To be less confusing, you can use a four-act structure instead of a three-act structure. Act 1, Act 2 (Act 2a), Act 3 (Act 2b), and Act 4 (Act 3). In a four act structure, each act would have nine chapters. www.getunderlined.com/
