There's a buzz about a book series that has a romance similar to Max & Liz ... of the Roswell TV series. I just got the first three books, but I'm waiting until I get the fourth book before reading them.

I was reading The Story Behind Twilight, and found that chapter 13 was the dream she had that started the book. So I read chapter 13 just to see what it was about the dream that got her caught up in the story. Wow! I'm so hooked! I don't know if I can wait until August to read the series. However, I'm trying very hard not to give in. I know once I start reading, if the rest of the books hold up to the one chapter I read, I'll not want to wait until August to finish the story. So, I ain't gonna start reading until very close to the time the book is released.
I'm not gonna read the series yet.

Maybe I'll start book one the middle or end of July.
They're big books, so maybe I should start book one the beginning of July.
Maybe the end of June.
I'm not reading them now.
I'm not!
I can hold off.

I plan on reading the series within the next few weeks.  I can't wait! As thick as they are, I should be able to have them last until the 4th book arrives.

Hey, Joxie. There is a woman who writes a blog for the same magazine that I do; she writes a book/movie review page, (which I'm not sure what that has to do with rural living, which is what the magazine is about, but she's an editor for the magazine, so there ya go). Recently, the Twilight series was brought up in the comment section of one of her blogs that I just stumbled upon.
The question was asked if it was worthy of all the fuss surrounding the books. I passed on your half-starved glowing review.
Also, I added the books onto my to-hopefully-read-sometime list.

I read the books mainly because my youngest daughter was enamored of them. I enjoyed them well enough but it's not my main interest, so I didn't rate them a 5. I can easily understand how others can enjoy them though.

A 10 Year Anniversary 'Twilight' Novel is on the market. The Publishers asked Stephenie to write a nice, fun foreword ... and instead she rewrote 'Twilight.' Most of the sex of the characters have been switched. Only a few remained the same. I got my book in the mail yesterday, but I haven't had a chance to check it out. Plan on reading it very soon.
