OMG! This is almost better than sex..... ok maybe not but it's not like I'd remember anyway.... LMAO...... peanuts and caramel hershy's kisses..... waaaaay good!
THANKS JOX!!!
You're very welcome, Scrappy... We used to get a bag of peanut clusters whenever we went to Sears, but when they sold their old building and built a new store in the mall, they no longer had the little peanut stand. I have really missed those things, so when I got a bag of the carmel kisses and also some salted peanuts, my mind decided to see if the two would work together and taste like those peanut clusters... and they did. Yummm! Gosh... I'm going to have to put those on my list for when I go to town...
I made me some "boiling cookies" yesterday... so they've been satisfying my sweet tooth.

All this talk of peanuts...and now "boiling" cookies. Reminds me of another of those southern things, (at least I think southern, because I've never seen them anywhere else). Boiled Peanuts.
Eroc...you are cracking me up. Pretty soon, and you'll be all out of P names.

It is very much a southern thing, Phalon. I actually had some last week when I was at my mom's.....the boiled peanuts that is. You buy them raw....blanche them with some salt, drain, then you can keep them in the freezer--to finish boiling & eat at your leisure!! You can actually find them here in Indiana at some stores--boiled in the can for about $3.00 for 8 oz. They are so tiny its hard to get them out of the shell. So much for boiled peanut trivia for the day!! ;D

Morning Eirene! See you down there, hanging about. Still potting at work? A foot of snow fell from the sky yesterday, and it looks like it'll be quite awhile before our nursery opens again. Kinda hard to convince someone to plant a tree when the ground is frozen solid, and covered in snow.
I started the coffee with that sensor thing. Jumped up and down, waving my arms wildly to get the feeling in them again after being out in the cold, and the pot started brewing. Cool. Join me for a cup?

Sounds like a beautiful walk, Xengab. I love walking when snow is falling, (as long as it's not windy!). Especially at night. So quiet...everthing seems muffled.
Had my fill of coffee, and time to run. We're taking the girls ice-skating today. Thanks Ladies.
Take care.
