That makes three of us, I'm about to raid the larder to see if there's anything worth eating in there, so i'll bid you both a fond farewell for the time being.

Ah, Morning Sweet Taters.
Getting to bed at a decent hour did me a world of good; ready to take on anything this morning.
Even my sludge - which I need to wrestle into the cup. It seems to have grown stronger and more sludge-like overnight.
Enjoy the day.

Thanks MM; was laughing my head off watching that, and wondering what it was all about till the little guy hit the bottom and all was revealed. And yep, that sums up the mighty Cats, completely fearless and faster then a speeding bullet.

I'll second that, reckon they've just about used up their nine lives, perhaps we should change our name to the Penguins and try emulating that little guy.

Reckon that worked MM, the Cats seem to have turned the corner and strung a few wins together, so well done.
I've cleaned the place out [ if the Dust Bunnies don't like it, they'll just have to complain to their union ] and set up drinks for everybody, so help yourselves to whatever takes your fancy.

Well make sure you wear some extra padding before you try that Lady P, don't think you'd be quite as well insulated as our little mate, and we wouldn't want you ending up with a frozen tummy.
And yeah, the Cats are going well at the moment thanks, just hope we don't misjudge a turn tomorrow and go shooting over a precipice.

Psst.....Madam P? Think this place could use your Halloween touch. What do you say? Buy you a drink?

Something green and smoky...for that seasonal touch, you know. Got any good witches brew a brewin'? Hold off on the eye of newt, and ear of bat. Something to send me off to slumber, I'm thinking; gotta work in the morning.

Definitely need that hot chocolate!!! Warm my bones; it's been cold, cold here today, and tomorrow it's supposed to be more of the same.
Cookies - they are a bonus.

Go easy on the cookies....too many and you'll end up hibernating! In the meantime...I think maybe I should rustle up some Halloween decor. What do you think?

Looking at the second picture there - the purple tinged one, and I'm thinking "homely" not "homey". Where do you dig this sh!t up from anyway. (I like the green one better, btw....eye-roll).

Woohoooooo
Happy All Hallows Eve everybody. Forget the coffee, break out the good stuff. I am just ssooooooooo tipsy at the minute. heheh I got locked out tonight (forgot to take my key with me, oops).
Anyway I've been ensconced in the Pub next door to my house (and I do mean next door, Jane is still trying to tunnel into the Guinness tanks from our kitchen, hehe.) for the past 2 hours and I had a couple of ciders (English alcofrolic cider) or three. Heheh
As usual we haven't have any trick or treaters this year. It's just not as popular here in blighty yet. So I am being exceedingly bad and sitting here with the big ol tin of chocolates I got just in case we did get anyone. Heh I love mini Snickers! ;D
O.k. Here I left you some terrific magners Irish Cider, now remember this isn't a soft drink, ok it's the hard stuff!
Have a ghoulish evening. XV

LMAO, X-Virgin. Not at your misfortune at locking yourself out of your house, of course, (can it be considered misfortune if you're ensconced in the Pub next door while being locked out?).
Laughing, cuz I did the same thing last week: locked myself out, and damn, not ensconcing. Got in through the tiny basement window - not an easy feat because it's a long drop down and I was on my back at the time. Hhmmmm.... It would have been better the other way around...but I was trying to keep the front of my shirt clean cuz I had to be somewhere in 10 minutes or so - my jacket covered the back.
Cobwebs...yuck; creepy once-crawly-but-now-dried-up carcasses of all sorts of bugs; the window hadn't been opened in years. Stuck in my hair. I'm sure I was still picking them out once I got to my appointment. But at least the front of me was clean.
And I had a beer after the break-in ordeal. It made the bugs and cobwebs sticking to me seem much less a worry.
