Runes are mysterious, or magical writings; old archaic languages, (Germanic, I think), or ancient songs and poems.

Now you're in the swing of it, kat! lone Thanks for the definition, Gams. What a neat word! BTW, it's funny how the mind works. Just now, as I reached for my toothbrush, the thought popped into my head, "'Casting the Runes', not 'Basking in the Runes'". So, I googled that title, and there it is. horror.about.com/od/books/gr/bk_casting.htmBOLL! "Basking in the Runes"!

LMAO. That's sounds so me, Siren - always messing up titles. This as I listen to Hubs....(wait, I gotta ask again)...pun band names made up from Looney Tunes characters: "Tucan Jam" or maybe "Twohand Jam". "Speedy Gon-something-or-other" - neither of us can remember now. Yes, they were that good.

Have a pleasant lunch, Katina.
I gotta go too, and drag Hubs off to bed.

Smart comments, Katina? I never make any comment that could even remotely be considered smart.

Park I ain't the first to repeat a word, and there are too many pages now to search through to see if a word has been used before.
