ANTHONY QUINN? Sound a bit like myself MG, raised on the smell of leather and the sound of six-guns as a kid. Seen so many westerns I've lost count. And that was a good guess, kd's wife is indeed killed by aq's son, played by Earl Holliman. Have to go for ................. Zorba The Greek.

TIM CURRY such a unique talent..... I know he's done a lot, but I can only think of him in Legend (consider that my contribution if it's not come up before) and as Poet Man in one of the early shows of Lexx

He was in a movie with a certain "don't call me crazy" favorite about a teacher trying to reform an incorrigable student.
He was also in a movie with an actor I recently mentioned in another thread about a cop who is accused of killing someone in the future.

Or it could be the one with kevin "Kline" as the teacher, as opposed to Kevin "Klein". ;D
Whichever way you spell it, am I on the right track Scrappy?

The mighty Cats a Rugby team, nooooooo. AFL, stands for Australian Rules Football, not to be compared to those no neck, no skills Rugby guys. And yeah, you're right, suppose I should dress up [ the siggy that is ] a little, I'll give it some thought.
