you have to pick another actor that was in Mars Attacks!! Good guess on the Emmy. It was actually Frank Gorshin-- who played the Riddler. He kinda scared me in those tights--I was always worried something was going to come loose & cause a distraction!! Mars Attacks. I can't stand Tim Burton films at the best of times (have fallen asleep X number of times during Big Fish), but to destroy an era of B-grade movies with this tripe as a supposed "homage" made me sick. Michael (J) Fox was in Mars Attacks though The Riddler, hehe. I wonder which of the villians from the yesteryear Batman series went on to do something outside of Batman??

If I told you that the female lead in The Concierge had one small [ but excellent ] scene in a film that won an Oscar for one of Americas most respected actors, would that be any help?

Seems like we've reached a bit of an impasse here mg, though i'm sure someone will be along eventually to get things moving again.
"I know he had a thing for a girl & wanted to impress her....??....am I in the ball park...."
You're more then in the ball park, you're spot on. I'll throw out a few more hints while we wait for help though......... the movie I referred to previously that she had a small role in, well the actor who won an Oscar for that was someone who is often compared to De Niro. She also had a role in the remake of a well known fifties sci-fi film.
Hope that helps.

"Mars Attacks maybe"
Fraid not, it was Invasion of the Body Snatchers actually. She was also in one scene of Scent of a Woman.
"Heh... If all else fails... google or IMDb... Or start fresh..."
Well I reckon if those new clues don't help, that's the only alternative Jox.

I can see the actress, but I don't have a name to go with the face... I think she also was in "Wild Hearts Run Free"... or some such title along those lines. The movie was the true story of a young girl who goes blind when a stunt goes wrong. (She jumped on a horse's back as it leapt off a ramp and dove into a pool of water.)

Yep, that's the one Jox. Her first name is the same as one half of our favourite dynamic duo, and her last starts with an "A". Is that any help?

Yo Joxcee [ that's the right spelling isn't it? ] you've nailed it..... well it's Gabrielle Anwar actually, but we won't quibble over one letter now will we. So now we can move on, all someone has to do is name a movie she was in, simple right............... right?

I could have sworn her name was Gabriella... I'm pretty sure there is an actress with that name. Oh well... close enough.
