Who got the better of who here?
Better? That is the word? 'Good, better, best. Never let it rest, cuz the gooder is the betterer, and the bestest is the best.'
Ok, I suppose I could have thought of something more better than that, but believe me, it wasn't the worstest I could do.

hang doesn't it just look wierd to look at...It just makes you think there should be something in front or behind the letters to complete it...
This thang here is called a hanger...that holds planes onto the ground...and that thang there is a hanger that holds clothes off the floor...When I get annoying phone calls then I hangup and when I am trying to do my pullups then I just hangon...

"whew...that was like watching a tennis match...or a dodgeball game take your pick either way the text was flying." You should have been on this side of the net GP, it was brutal. "Who got the better of who here?" ;D "You'd think he'd know better by now than to try and keep up with me...oh well if worst comes to worst I'll just slow down a bit till he gets the hang of it..." Well I can't help it if i'm a slow learner you know. When you asked if i'd like a go at word ass I didn't stop to consider the ramifications of entering into a slug fest with Speedy Gonzales. I plead temporary insanity, [ note I said "temporary" ]

True story. When I was a travel consultant, one of the places I worked was an old hangar converted into an office building at an airport. Some swore the place was haunted by the pilot and crew of a downed plane that crashed into a bridge in that area.
Pfft.
Never saw anything, but it was kinda creepy working late.

I've always had a facination with ghosts ever since I was a little one and was stuck on the haunted mansion ride at the local theme park for what seemed like an eternity. My imagination went wild as I first got scared and then tried to figure out every nook and cranny of the place. Now I love to hear ghost stories and my kid passes on the tradition with scary movies and stories. When she was in the scouts they camped out in the backyard after watching scream and she scared every one of those grrls into the house while she sat cackling in the tent. The ghosts of times long past...

Béarnaise; what the heck am I supposed to do with that?! Reminds me I guess of mayonnaise - both made with eggs and similiar suffix. Will that suffix as an answer?
Probably not, but it's a Miracle I could even Whip that one out at all.
Miracle Whip, and that reminds me of Xena and her many skills, and weapons.

what? Whip doesn't remind you of Xena? and salad dressing doesn't remind you of women...If you have ever hung out with a crowd of them or dated one the mainstay of the diet is dressing with a little bit of salad... I'd rather a person eat a hearty meal though because salad doesn't fill you up enough to keep your energy up when you need it. Unless of course it is a taco salad which should not be described as salad at all...more like leftovers in a deep fried bowl...

appetizer : Is what I call the main dish at a fancy shmancy restaurant. Like those four tiny carrots and smidge of unrecognizable food is supposed to fill me up. No way...
Tonight my appetizer for dinner was taken from the plate of cookies a coworkers spouse gave us so they wouldn't plague her countertop and entice her into dessert before dinner.

Willpower, and when it comes to stuff like cookies, and cakes, and pies, and whatever else comes out of a bakery, I have none. Especially if whatever it is is warm and has that fresh out of the oven scent wafting through the air.

Fire - we had one the other night. The perfect type night for it; chilly, but not too cold. Friends came over and we all sat around the firepit outside and told scary stories....scary stories involving the guys' past male bonding adventures, which usually end up in some type of ridiculous diseaster.
