Phalon Incognito: I didn't realize the power you posess...the ability to turn around in circles and become whom ever you wish. It worked wonders for a particular amazon woman though she was known more for her jugs then her gams... Do you have the handy dandy bracelets and the lasso of truth as well?

Wonder Woman was an Amazon? I didn't know that, not remembering much about the television show. Hubs obviously didn't either. I was out with BP the other day, cutting flowers for a bouquet. He stands out in the yard, watching us, and yells, "Almighty Iris" doing that spinning around, cross your chest Wonder Woman move. Bad punning; we belong together. At least he got the flower name correct, even if he got his super-hero females mixed-up.
As you get older, I suppose memory is just a figment of the imagination.

That's a natty? Reminds me of a conversation so long ago in the very first Cyrene's at O2, where Gabbin referred to them once as nappies, and yeah, GP, I think you were the only one that understood what the heck she was talking about.
Hhmm...Britches.
The Britches of Eastwick: a movie in witch the three female leads all vie for the male's attention. Lots of pleating and panting involved as they try to iron out the crinkles. A starch comedy, but Jack's acting is a bit stiff.

adieu: bless you Scrappy i believe you sneezed. You remind me of ROC in Lady MacBeth. It is cool to see such a passionate soul... I on the other hand identify with the comic relief...I believe he was the drunkard in thst particular play. I can't remember what he said, but I do remember it was funny and made us all laugh. I was surprised to find a french word in my english dictionary...And to think all those years looking in the french dictionary and i could have been understanding what I was trying to read... apropos

OMG!!!!! I love that word....I said it once to a manager of mine and then spent 20 minutes trying to explain in english what it meant so that he would understand. The best I could do were more $5 words...lol...and it's really cool that there is another lover of "the" bard here....I don't feel like such a geek now.
Ok here it is....
"A man falls in love through his eyes, a woman through her ears."
Woodrow Wyatt
Wyatt’s reasoning, apropos of women, was that “what is said to them usually more important than the superficiality of good looks.”
This is the truest thing I have heard lately...I love words more than I love the trappings....there is more honesty in it...when I find someone who talks to me like....dang...what a turn on....
Ok sorry..my word....lol

I agree, Scrappy....although.... Sometimes words fade into the background, becoming just white noise when staring into really expressive eyes that could just make you melt.
Hhmm....
And in hindsight.....well, that is a great asset to hold also.

"When someone blunders, we say that he makes a misstep. Is it then not clear that all the ills of mankind, all the tragic misfortunes that fill our history books, all the political blunders, all the failures of the great leaders have arisen merely from a lack of skill in dancing." Moliere
I'm thinking the world now can use free dance lessons.
Oh, the tango-ed web we weave.

When I dance, I dance; when I sleep, I sleep; yes, and when I walk alone in a beautiful orchard, if my thoughts have been dwelling elsewhere, I bring them back to the walk, to the orchard, to the sweetness of this solitude, and to me.
Michel de Montaigne (1533–1592)

Ok, ok, ok.... How about....
Greens: collard, spinach, orchard?
I really gotta stop looking in here first thing in the morning.

I don't believe I have ever had Swiss chard. It sounds about as appetizing as charred Swiss. I shall turn my nose up at both and find something else to devour.

Is that one of those things you hang over a baby crib? You know....flip a little switch and several multi-colored little thingies swirl around. One would think that would make the little ones sick.

I scream you scream we all scream for Ice Cream? Ok that was bad....
Used to love the home made churn stuff at my grandma's...real fresh fruit and the whole nine yards....only bad thing was I was the one who always got stuck cranking the churn. I think in the long run all that hard work only made it better.
