There are a lot of homes that would be fun to own. Corollary: there are a lot of homes that I cannot afford.

Or at least be able to stay in for a month or two ... for very cheap, if not for free.

Apple Cider Vinegar. Who'd of thought of that? And who was the first to experiment with it?

I've been using Vaseline soaked in Witch Hazel. And sometimes just WH. It shrinks it, but hasn't gotten rid of it.

I don't imagine WH would - it's an antiseptic and antibacterial but a sty wouldn't respond to that.

I've put ACV on the tag twice today. Gotta do one more before going to bed.

You said it's close to your eye - be very careful.

I dip my finger in the ACV, then tap my finger to knock off any drops, then lightly touch the tag ... wait a bit and wipe before opening my eye.

I skipped yesterday, and so far today too. I'll let you know what happens if I keep it up daily as I should.

I have an appointment in February to have it removed. Just playing around to see if I can call and cancel before then.

It has for now. I haven't rubbed it as much of late. Not since I've shrunk it with Witch Hazel.

Good - you want to be comfortable for Thanksgiving.

Try an ibuprofen an hour or two before you eat - you don't want anything to bother your quest for satisfaction at the table.

I have Aleve ... but it gave me stomach cramps that felt like I was starving when I wasn't. I'd used Advil before that with no problem. I took more than two a day, so that may have been the problem. I was taking time away from Aleve to see if one a day would do the same thing. (I had gotten used to taking two or more a day when taking Advil.)

The point is to be able to use both hands effortlessly. You know, you want to chomp down on all the good stuff while it lasts! Oops. Charlie Brown Thanksgiving just came on. See ya!

Better to use both hands if you can though. Sadly, at work they had a non-traditional Thanksgiving meaning no turkey, no spiral ham, no stuffing, no mash potatoes, no gravy, and no Stepper. Eventually I got overly hungry because I hadn't been able to get out to lunch so I checked out the remains. They had mini sub rolls and someone had purchased a meat and cheese tray - and some of it was left - so I gave in and made a ham/bologna and american cheese sandwich. It was enough.

I saw that one on the news. And no one knows where they are coming from - but there has to be a continuing source because of the condition of the feet. Someday they're going to figure out what's been happening, and we're all going to go WTF?

I'm pretty much doing that now!
Oh! Since we were talking about this topic in another thread, wouldn't that make a good one?
"Feet on a Beach"
Another WTF band name.

How about
"Look Ma No Feet" or "Shark Baiter"?

|
|
Post by Phalon on Feb 15, 2016 22:36:24 GMT -6
Way too dated sounding.
Today's version of "Look Ma No Feet" would be "Sons Without Feet".
Instead of "Shark Baiter" it'd be "Baiting Sharks".
The songs they'd decompose would have titles like...
"I Left My Heart in San Francisco, But My Foot is in Vancouver"
"500 Miles on One Foot"
"Goody One Shoe"
and of course...
"Footloose"

Aw man! I forgot about that one!
What about a group called Footie and the Blowfish?
And remember Nancy Sinatra's famous lyrics?
"These boots were made for walkin', but first you need some glue, These boots were made for walkin', but 'boots' means you need two"
