Freebird, I watched that with the kids too. They couldn't get it out of their heads and sang it over and over. The only problem being, they couldn't remember all of the words. In steps me to the rescue....you'd be surprized how many new lyrics can be made to rhyme with snow.

I just have to clarify here. I do know who Ingrid Bergman is, I was being facetious.
Today’s song Du Jour……
Night and Day, Cole Porter
Just finished watching a movie called De Lovely. And also it seemed somehow appropriate.

What is delovely about? Delight. It's delovely, it delirious, it deliberate. I forgot those lyrics.
Night and day.............you are the one. Gotta hold that note a long time.

De Lovely is about Cole Porter's life. What a brilliant man.

Well mostly he's dead....but rent the movie. It'll tell you all about him. Or a movie called Night and Day with Cary Grant......it's also a movie about Cole Porter.

Hi Burnout. Sorry to hear of your burnout. Unless, of course, you were burning out something you wanted to.
Well, I just got back from a Rickie Lee Jones concert. Man, was that good. A bit like seeing Billie Holliday, I thought. Her soul is exposed and seems to make me feel that way, too. A great artist and poet.
One of my fav songs of hers is Satellites. That is in my head.

At the moment I am stuck with the song by Katie Melua.
"This is the nearest thing to crazy I have ever known."

Creed's "My Own Prison" has been running through my head for a couple of days, courtesy of LX, who has played the cd over about a million times since Christmas.
I have always associated the lyrics to this song as being Xena's in the episode, "Ides of March".

Think twice, Megaloman. Sometimes you end up with a bunch of songs floating in your head; stuck there for days on end, just by reading this thread. Could be dangerous.
Here's one for you...Baby Phalon tells Hubs today that her CD was done, "Daddy, my song is over." Hubs in some kind of weird word association thing starts singing, "Please, Mister, please. Don't play B-17. It was our song, it was her song, and it's ooo-ver."
I'm sure Olivia fans, (are there any still?), are cringing everywhere.

Instead -- by Abandon Jalopy...
Fun song

Yes, Mary's gurl-back a few posts-that Rickie. She is hilarious in concert. She seems to be creating right there onstage the songs for the first time.
I got this nice African music for X-mas. I have a few of those songs kickin' around the noggin.
