Today it was "Voodoo" by Godsmack. All day. Makes me want to go dance under the cloudy moonlit sky, all shades of grey and eerie.
Ok, not really. It's too cold out now. Maybe some other night.

I have Janie's got a gun blaring right now...Aerosmith is good, but I love their videos even better. There aren't that many bands I can say that about.
For example once you have seen the scrawney legs that go along with ACDC it ruins it a little bit... for me anyway.

Sadly, GP, I am the same. I used to really like listening to Creed, until seeing the obnoxious front-man, (ick), in a video. His image ruined it for me, and even now, I can't hear a Creed song without thinking this guy needs to drop his self-omnipotentism. (ok, I just made that word up, but it fits).

Speaking of Creed: You should have seen him in concert. The pompous ass was so drunk he forgot the words to the songs...They band broke up and from what I hear they are fighting like cats and dogs. Lawsuits aflying
Tune in the noggin right now is baby got back by sir mix alot.

I believe the rest of the band added the singer from STP, (Scott Wieland, maybe...something like that), and turned into Velvet Revolver.
Gotta song stuck in my head now that I can hear the tune to, and some of the words, but can neither figure out what song it is, or who sings it. Grrr. Bugging me.

Na. Na-na-na-na. Na-na-na-na, heyy ey eyy Goodbye... I heard that one at the football game the other night...Is that it?
Or were you asking for a banana split...
don't cha hate it when you can't get the words out. I normally start spouting places or times I heard it to date it so that I can then target who and when...

Yeah, I've lost the words now too. Except for "I". There's an "I" in there. Somewhere. I think.
Newer song. Played on either a metal station, or alternative rock station.
Wouldn't be so bad, except it's going around and around and around.
Argh!

Must have been playing on your alarm clock this morning. I do that when a song wakes me up.
I like the song Mouth by Bush...Don't remember an I in it but maybe it will get your mind off the other song

Nope, it's not Live. It'll come to me, I'm sure. Probably at 4am one morning, after humming it for three solid days nonstop.

I always put words to my hums in the shower. Or when I am meditating and not supposed to be thinking of anything...Whammo in it pops and I yell out a name or the lyrics become clear. Let me put some old memories in your head with Skid Row Remember yesterday walking hand in hand lalala I wanna see him say? I remember you A ton of sleepless nights throughout your endless day I wanna ? I remember you I even tried listening to the song to understand the words and it sounds like the guy is drunk slurring his words. Maybe it was one of those fake it kinda preformances...

Nope....nothing is going to shake this one, I can tell.
Except, I'm thinking there is a "you" in it too. Damn, and now I'm singing that last line, "I remember you", to the tune of this nameless, wordless song.
BOLL, GP. You are not helping, you know.

Dang, GP. Was just heading off to sleep, and guess what's now stuck in my head? Thinking I may need to check under the bed...
"Hush little baby, don’t say a word. And never mind that noise you heard. It’s just the beast under your bed, In your closet, in your head."
I did have Collective Soul's "Run" stuck in there, having listened a couple times this evening. Dang, I like this song. Thanks again, Marysgurl.
Collective Soul, along with REO Speedwagon, (didn't know they were still around), is coming to a festival near here. Thinking of going just to hear them - Collective Soul, (can do without REO).
Hey Gigs, do you read this thread? The Venetian Festival, I've heard, is a pain in the @ss to attend, being way too crowded and not enough places to park. True? I've never been, sticking instead to our Harbor Fest, and Blueberry Festival. You guys, though, get much bigger names of the older bands than we do; us being a much smaller town, I suppose.

You are most welcome, Phalon, for all the tunes & I am grateful for the new stuff you have turned on inside my head!! REO??!! I saw them in college at a Jam Fest with Survivor, Kansas, Journey....CDB...& Harry Chapin (how he got in that line-up I'll never know..??) The cool thing....saw them all free with my student ID....ah...those were the days!! Still can't believe ILB is paying $100.00 each for two Green Day tickets!!! Big birthday gift for a 14 year old---lol---I never paid anywhere close to that for a concert ticket!! Oh well, they are both GD fanatics & what a bonding experience for the both of them....they are driving to St Louis for the show--almost 5 hours!!! Plus....it lets us off the hook for a birthday party with a house full of 13-14 year olds....exactly how do you entertain that age group--being cool enough & not too antiquated at the same time?? LOL Does it get easier or harder from here on....never mind, I think I know the answer.....

Now I have The Gun Club's - "She's Like Heroin To Me" in my head. Jeffrey Lee Pierce, a strange messed up man, but he had some good songs to his credit before he died

Q I wish I could tell you it gets easier after the teens begin...The concert tickets will help but soon she will not want to attend with mum so enjoy the company while you can. At 14 Mine would go with me but by 17 she takes the tickets and runs. Just remember that it is all about growing independance and it is better they get a little rebelous at home then wait till college and then they go nutz with no supervision at all. At least that is what I keep telling myself.
As for the song stuck in my head The Bug by Mary Chapin Carpenter...
Sometimes your the windshield sometimes your the bug sometimes it all comes together sometimes your a fool in love sometimes your a louisville slugger sometimes your the ball

Argh! Hubs is again singing to me his Irritating Song Du Jour. He'd quit for awhile mainly, I think, because he couldn't stand it being stuck in my head and having to hear me sing it back at him for the rest of the day.
Must have forgotten how irritating it can be - having to listen.
Today's entree: Hey there, Georgie Girl.

My question....how does that song get stuck in either head?? Where would you even hear that song??
Nothing stuck here....have been shuffling thru the library all evening....just a big bunch of great tunes!!! Wish I could share with everyone....like we could each put up a playlist when we're here & everyone that's here too could hear what we were playing.....at the same time.......hhhmmmm.......
*bounces out looking for help with that...."Baby!!"..."Jox!!"...."Gigs!!...*
