you've woken up from a dream, convinced it really happened. true. happens all the time, in fact.
true or false: you've had a body part fall asleep because you did not want to disturb the animal that had fallen asleep on it.

True. More than once even.

True. Without hesitation.
True. All mine have been "disposable cars"... cars that I buy straight up for a thousand bucks or less, then last me a year or two before dying.
True or False? You've kicked an animal in anger.

No, and I have no sympathy for someone who'd do that.
T/F You've "lost" something and spent several minutes looking for it before finding it in your pocket or on your person somewhere.

you've "lost" something and spent several minutes looking for it before finding it in your pocket or on your person somewhere. true. all the time. normally it's keys in my back pocket or a pen behind my ear.
true or false: when your pet(s) make a noise, you know exactly what it is they are asking for.

When your pet(s) make a noise, you know exactly what it is they are asking for.
Nope – I can’t say that I do. The dog “talks” in her sleep and I have no idea what she’s dreaming. When she’s awake, a bark followed by a growl could mean “Mail’s here”, “there’s a leaf blowing by the window”, or “there’s nothing at all going on outside; I just felt like growling cuz I recently learned I can do it, and like the sound of my own voice.” The cats caterwaul at all odd hours of the day and night, and make all kinds of weird noises only they can understand. The only words I know from any of them is “Feed me” – it’s universal in any language.
True or false? The phone just rang; company’s coming and they’ll be there in five minutes. You look around, horrified at the condition of your house, and do a three minute drill, shoving stuff in the dishwasher, oven, and cabinets, using the last two minutes before they arrive to achieve a nonchalant look that says, “I didn’t just bust @ss trying to make the house look half-way presentable.”

I understand "feed me", "the faucet isn't dripping", and "I'm climbing on your shoulder even if you aren't interested" - but that's it. The last one is as much a warning as anything else since when they say that they're usually racing to see who gets which shoulder first and it always involves claws.
True - every time someone calls and says they're coming over.
False. I don't hide stuff - but out of curtesy I make sure there's an open seat for anyone foolish enough to come visiting. 8>

you've caused a motor vehicle accident. technically speaking, true. a dog ran out in front of gabrielle's car this one time, and i screamed at her that there was a dog, and she swerved and totaled the car. (note: no one was hurt, except the tree she hit and the totaled car.)

true, or false? you would lie to keep your friend/significant other/sibling from getting into serious trouble.

Love rollercoasters; I've never ridden one or any other ride that has made me sick. An iron-cast stomach doesn't allow me - I haven't thrown-up since I was a kid and Mom gave me Alka-Seltzer for an upset stomach. Oh wait, there was that one time when we were dating....but Hubs is to blame for that one.
You would lie to keep your friend/significant other/sibling from getting into serious trouble.
I honestly can't say....or can't say I'd be able to pull it off. I'm a horrible liar - so horrible it's a family joke. Years ago, I once called into work sick because I had an exam to take in order to get another job - and I actually made myself sick worrying because I lied about being sick. The girls keep insisting I should try out for Survivor (eye-roll), but then take it back, saying I couldn't lie my way to the end like almost every contestant has on the show. They have me prove it by giving me a situation that would require a lie - and yep, even pretending, I get all red-faced and flustered. The "serious trouble" would probably have to be life-threatening in order for me to lie.
True or false?
You've carried on a conversation with someone you were supposed to know - they know you - but the whole time you're talking, you are trying to figure out where the hell you know them from.

True or False? You have a gym membership that you actually use.

I have tinnitus too. Mine is a high pitched tone that never goes away. Noise helps off set the constant scream - but I found that the ceiling fan set on high made enough noise to help off set tone. Complete silence is a problem because the tinnitus will leave me with a screaming headache. I even had to adjust how I sleep on a pillow. I only sleep well on my side but the pillow can't cover my ear because the tone gets very loud. I have to shove pillows around to leave a spot that doesn't closely cover my ear or I don't get to sleep.
False: no gym membership.
T/F: You have/had a security blanket?

You have/had a security blanket. True. And if I kick it off in the middle of the night, I immediately wake up and have to wrap it back around me before I can fall asleep again.
True or False? You can cook yourself dinner without burning anything.

False. I'm frequently embarrassed, but mostly it's by lack of talent.
You have to share a juicy secret with at least one other person, even if you feel you must first swear the next person to secrecy. (Then you expect the other person to refrain from doing the same.)

False. A secret shared is no longer a secret.
If yo could afford it you'd hire a maid but never tell anyone.

False. I’d hire the maid, but I’d be sharing the news. “Hey! Come on over and shoot some pool! What? No, the pool table isn’t a display center any more. I got a maid and she found a place to hide most of my junk! Guess what?! There was a stereo center and CDs behind that big box by the wall! PAARRRTYYYY!!!!”
You’ve told a fib to a friend’s significant other to cover up for the friend who was checking out a potential new significant other.

False. But I ask them not to make "it" when there's a potential that I'll be making it for the same occasion (like an office party.) Especially my scratch cheesecake.
