This is more of a gold fish type questuon I think. The little colored ones.

Post by Phalon on Feb 25, 2005 2:47:04 GMT -6
Goldfish are not supposed to be rainbow colored. Then they would be rainbow fish, yes? Or pretzels. I like those, but shouldn't they be called Pretzel Fish then? Oh, where's the Pretzel Logic? Steely Dan stole it, I'm sure, and see they never shortened their name, but if they did would it have been "Steely", or "Dan"? The questions I have to lie awake with tonight.

Steady As A Rock!
Just how steady is a rock? I think it depends on if the ground is flat or slanted... if the rock in buried somewhat into something solid, and upon just what that something is made of... sand... clay... dried mud... ice... It also depends on if the ground stays perfectly still, or moves due to a quake, or rain, or melting.... etc. So, why do I want to be steady like a rock? And why do I want a truck that's steady like a rock? Because if I'm parked on an incline, I want the truck to stay where I put it... not slide off down the slope to it's destruction... I want it to be steady... _period_!!! And since a rock can slide or roll due to circumstances beyond its control, I think I'll just go with steady.

A Rock And A Hard Place
If I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place, then is there no way out? And if there's no way out, how did I get _into_ the midst of a rock and a hard place? Which is harder? The rock? Or the hard place? Is the rock too big to climb? Is the hard place too smooth to have places to grab hold of or to step on and pull/push my way up with? Can the rock and hard place not be moved out of the way so that I can pick a path out into the open? How did the rock get near the hard place, and why is the hard place not just another form of a rock? Gosh.... I think I'm between a rock and a hard place on this dilemma.
