Thought I start a thread on the subject.
So, has anyone had any personal experiences with spirits/ghosts? Some type of otherworldly unexplained experience in general?

Well I do live with a cat and cats are unexplained experiences in themselves. ;D

Yes, cats are pretty difficult to explain! I haven't had any real experiences, but I have had some rather strange dreams!

The house I live in is haunted. There have been several times I have seen a woman. I have 2 black cats and let me know when she is around.

It sounds pretty spooky. How do you live with her?

Easy she doesn't bother anyone. She looks to be in her mid fiftys wearing a old dress. I always see her by the stove as if she were cooking.

I usually see her around 2:00am. I don't know I'll have to try it sometime. We have discovered 2 more ghosts a young lady in her 30's and a boy about 5 or 6 yrs old my grandson talks to him all the time. I hope there are more. I love ghosts they can be quite fun.

now ghosts scare the socks off me so i was surprised whilst living with my grandparents that i had an encounter. i was setting off to work on the early shirt which ment i left my grandma's house at 4.30 am. i walked out of the back door as i had done many times before but for some reason half way down the yard i had the urge to look back at the house. when i lokked back at first i thoughtthat i saw my grandad stood there then on looking more i noticed that i could see the coat rack through him! i talked with my grandma that night she asked me to describ him and i was told that it was my great grandad. she said he must have come to check up on you did you say hello no i said i ran like hell and she laughed .

Should have talked to him. Sometimes ghosts will talk back. We have seem another ghost....Well an old ghost she must have followed us from the apartment we lived in before we got this house. She is a older lady also. I wonder if the two older ladys will get along Ha Ha

I seem to have many ghosts always have always will. I just wish they were all human. One that is my guardian and teaches me, many lessons my soul needs to learn and how to guard my spirit. Anyways he is just a bit older than me and the strange thing is he grows with me. But he was seven when he died. I talk to them communicate know how they died all that jazz really its fascinating but i always feel protected. The boy likes to be called Casper tho cause we like the Casper movies. He doesn't like his real name. haha. But really i learned things my parents wouldn't tell me. I used to live right next door to my aunt so my family was over there and i went to get something from my house and saw my great aunt and her daughter. They were talking about how the father had killed the daughter with a hammer. I went back told my mom and she goes yeah how did you know. I love it, tho it is a bit freaky to be talking to something no one else sees. Cause my family sees ghosts but we never see them at the same time.

I know my great-grandfather told this story of how this house couldn't be lived in no matter what for the people would move out constantly due to the ghost of an old man that lived there. Finally the house became vacant and run down and a man back from the war (WW2) found the house and decided to stay there for the night and saw the ghost. He ignored it the first time it showed up and finally by the 2nd time he asked what the ghost wanted and it led him to the fireplace and pointed to some of the stones in front of it. The man pulled the stones up and found underneath a large statsh of money. After that it was said the ghost never came back again and the house was torn down.
