Is there some place online I can post my stories so that people can link to them if they want to read them? Preferably someplace that would allow me to remove them if I feel that I can add more to them of fix them up a bit if nessasary.
I can store my drawings on my yahoo photo album but I have know were to put my writings. Plus I want them to be safe somewere incase my computer crashes and I loose all my personal documents.

I have another question. How do I post my stories on the DREAMS OF ILLUSIA board? I've been trying to post the latest version of my SENSUAL DESIRE story but I can't seem to figure out how. I want to make sure it's somewere safe incase my computer crashes and I need to find it to add back onto my personal documents if I loose everything on my computer which has happened before.

You can upload the Word documents at both the MSN groups and Yahoo groups. They have file cabinets in both groups. You can also create your own board to post your stories on. If they are over a PG rating it can't be with ProBoards. You can also upload the Word documents to sites that offer free webpages.... and also at graffiti.net. Google for "Free File Storage" ...
You can also highlight the contents of the Word document and paste it into a post to save in a thread.
Save them to CDs as well.

For some reason I cannot upload on the MSN boards and after uploading to my yahoo briefcase and changing the settings from private to public, I keep getting "site not responding" when I try to view it.

It may just need to take a while to reset itself. Try it later to see if it is available then.

Also... print out your work after every major rewrite and put it in a storage container in a closet or under the bed. This way if there's a major crash, you can just retype it into the computer again. Plus, you'll have proof against someone claiming you've stolen their work. Print the date of when it was printed out on the first page so that you'll know which is the newest version, and which is the oldest.

Other than buying a new computer, I'm all out of options.
