I know there was a rule about Barbara Eden not showing her navel in I Dream of Jeannie And I like Kathy Ireland too, but for a very different reason than what you presented.
And so, having mentioned her...Jeannie

Maya Angelou, whose “I know Why the Caged Bird Sings,” was converted into a play.
Angelou's list of occupations includes pimp, prostitute, night-club dancer and performer, cast member of the opera Porgy and Bess, coordinator for The Southern Christian Leadership Conference, author, journalist in Egypt and Ghana whilst they overthrew colonial rule, and has been an actor, writer, director, and producer of plays, movies, and public television programs. In 1993, Angelou recited her poem "On the Pulse of Morning” at Clinton’s inauguration, the first poet to make an inaugural recitation since Robert Frost do so at Kennedy’s inauguration in 1961.

Sticking with the western theme, the Lone Ranger's sidekick "Tonto", portrayed in the latest version by Johnny Depp *swoon* (just thought I'd save you the trouble Gams ) From the trailers it looks a lot like Captain Jack Sparrow transported to the old west, and not a little campish to boot.

Sorry Siren, but Scamp was going for the "V", not the "P", so as much as I'd like to pursue the kink, I'll go for our friend in leather, The Wink - as seen in The Lords of Flatbush and Nightshift and television's Happy Days, the Fonz. Henry Franklin Winkler.

Franny and Zooey by J. D. Salinger is usually considered to be a single but they were not originally published together and they don't share the literary form: Franny is short story and Zooey is a novella. When published together with "Raise High the Roof Beam Carpenter," Salinger was pretty much savaged by critics. Much of the criticism was underserved: Franny and Zooey were not written as coherent response to each other so Salinger had no reason to write as though they were. And, while neither is that good, Salinger was seeking comfort from his existential position -- wars tend to knock philosophers around a good bit. If Chagall contented himself by imposing order on his chaotic world by turning away from the curves which dominated his earlier work to what can only be described as an obsession with the linear, Salinger looked to Eastern religions to help him tame his demons. But bad things like Russian communists and Japanese death pilots came from the east. So Salinger "bad" because of his interest in the East. Part of me wants to defend Salinger and part of me wants to smack him for that farce called "Cather in the Rye." Yet another thoroughly objective scamp post

Bo, aka tv's "Lost Girl"
A friend kept mentioning this series till I finally gave it a try. Meh. Some of the corny dialogue makes me laugh. But much of the acting is SO bad, I can't get into it. And it also bothers me that the lead actress is at least 10 years older than her character is supposed to be. She's a good actress. I just don't know why they didn't cast someone age-appropriate. I will say, though, that judging by the handful of episodes I've seen, a few from each season, it seemed to get better, plot and dialogue-wise, as it went along.
