My co-worker and I were just talking about this yesterday. Candy corn is up in the top five on both our lists of gross Halloween candy we remembered as kids (LX loves the stuff. Bluck.). But mix it with peanuts, and you have an instant Payday candy bar.

LOL- this is great! You guys know I love Paydays. I must try this, with a cold Coke to make it bluckier for Gams.

I haven't tried it yet. A woman in the store was loading up on the bags of candy corn and when I looked at her she explained what they were for. I told her about caramel kisses & salted peanuts. (Peanut Clusters)

How about caramel apples covered in nuts?
LX went grocery shopping with me the other day; she almost exploded in excitement when she saw the Halloween candy display. Brach's has a new flavor of candy corn: Green Apple. On her insistence, while at the same time I was gagging, we had to get a bag. Even the appearance is not appetizing - it's this pukey sea-green color, with a dull cream-colored tip.
But I'd bet that if you mixed the stuff with peanuts and those little caramel cubes, it'd taste like a caramel apple.

Great suggestion. That might work. I get the tub of creamy caramel, and a bag of Granny Smith Apples. Slice the apples one at a time and dip the slices in the tub ... and ... Yum! No need to make a mess in the kitchen.
