Got it one our kid down under, Rob Petrie it is. Do I really need to censor the actors name? Flip, that means I can't tell you one of the funniest jokes I know. LOL XV Sorry to hold things up guys, forgot I was "it" on this one. Sheesh I got censored, how about that [ have a go at that joke anyway XV, ya never know your luck ] Okay then, I'm the father of a very large family, widowed and just recently remarried, I have my hands full with my job as a newspaper columnist, and looking after three sons and five daughters.

You're not gonna hit me with compounding interest on that are you Jox, I'll be about a hundred and five by the time it's paid off.
Nopers. I'll call it even as a Christmas present.
Phew thanks Jox, it's a relief to know I'm not gonna spend my remaining years in debt.

Kat that sounds like one of my favourites;
Eight is Enough starring Dick Van Patten as the patriarch Tom Braden. Always loved this one.

Your wish is my command, so let's see what we can come up with then .......................
I'm a brilliant ex detective, on psychiatric leave from the force after the murder of my wife exacerbated my medical condition.
I now work as a consultant for them with the help of my nurse/assistant.

- I died and was brought back to life by an alien.
- I got flashes of how much he loved me during the healing.
- He got a flash of me in a dress with designs of cupcakes on it from when I was a little girl. He knew how much I hated the dress, but wore it anyway because my mom had made it for me, and I didn't want to hurt her feelings.

If you don't have an answer, ask me a question. Any question I like Jox? Okay then ............. who are you? Naw, guess that's a little unfair, but I have no idea on this one. It sounds a little like the plot from the film "Starman" but I don't recall a tv series being made of that; maybe I just missed it though, so I'll say the female lead from Starman.

- My two best friends are also in love with aliens.
- My alien boyfriend is a clone of himself . . . he was murdered on his home planet, and his parents brought his clone to earth to protect it from being killed as well.
- My alien boyfriend is the King of his planet, and his wife was cloned and brought to earth as well. She's a thorn in our sides.

It is from early 2000, but I didn't start watching it until I caught a few reruns on the Sci-Fi channel, so it's new to me. I've mentioned it a few times.

Righto, try this one on for size then .............................
I'm a New York city cop with a brash in your face attitude, fiercely loyal to my fellow officers although I always seem to be getting my partner into trouble. To headstrong for my own good, I have a tendency to act before thinking, and though I consider myself good at my job I'm probably not the sharpest knife in the draw.

Sorry to upset you Siren. Thought you might recognise that one, I am indeed the often annoying but never boring, "Officer Maurice 'Bosco' Boscorelli." I may be lamenting the end of the show shortly myself, think they've just about reaching the end, the last couple of episodes were the ones guest starring Henry Winkler which were shown on commercial tv about twelve months back. A lot been happening lately, "Alex" killed in an explosion, which ticked me off as she was one of my favourite characters, then "Doc" went off the deep end and shot someone, and "Cruz" is [ still ] running around like an out of control bulldozer. Great stuff, I'll be sorry when it reaches the final episode.

Oh my gosh, you are really in, in my opinion, the best era of "Third Watch". It was so exciting, I could hardly wait for the next episode.
My niece was so upset when Alex died. And it really was a shocking, unexpected end. Poor Doc, such a good guy. It was painful, watching him go to pieces. And Cruz - wow. Awesome! And very interesting how the writers turned her from an arch enemy into a heroine. Amazing to me that that actress hasn't turned up in another role by now. She has such a unique look and presence.
*sigh* I've gotta re-search all my channel guides to see if anyone is showing "Third Watch". You've really made me hungry to see it again.
Let me think on it a bit, before I post the next character. Thanks!
