Righto, along with the other clues, only "Scotty" I can think of who she starred alongside was Ewan McGregor, which means the film would have to be .............. Moulin Rouge. I think.

Kt xx Maybe it's the cold Kt, freezing things up, wouldn't worry about it if I were you, mine never works right, hot, cold, or in between. Sounds like you could be referring to a Tennessee Williams film which starred Marlon Brando, I'll let you take a crack at it just in case you're right.
