skunky beer is caused when sunlight or artificial light reacts with the hops in the bottles; a chemical reaction occurs that produces thiol - the same chemical a skunk uses when threatened. Isn't the keg supposed to prevent that?? Okay - maybe the quantity was a bit much. Isn't the purpose of the brown bottle to prevent that? skanky
