On Monday, my Mom's friend got a call from a "Windows" Tech about her internet cutting out, and that it was because of hacking she could have viruses on her computer. She blew them off, but they kept calling her repeatedly. She took her computer to Best Buy, and the geeks there told her it was a scam. But they obviously had to have done something to get her internet to cut out ... and I also lost internet connection briefly on Monday as well, so they had to have done something that effected my ISP.
So, be very careful everyone. The scammers are getting more and more clever.
