Things that I find annoying:
People who have conversations on their cell phones that are completely personal, in public.

Urgh...I hate when I'm in the middle of helping someone at the nursery, and they take a call, saying 'it'll only take a second', but minutes later they're still on the phone. I feel like I'm eavesdropping if I wait for them to finish, or abandoning them if I leave to move on to someone else.

I never wait. Ever. Your phone call is more important than me? Great. I have other customers to wait on.
Opening a loaf of bread for the first time and immediately losing the twisty thing holding the bag shut.

Your kid losing the twisty thing on the loaf of bread, and not bothering to walk two steps to the jar on the counter with extra twisty things in it, saved for the purpose replacing lost twisty things on loaves of bread, and instead putting the bread back in the cupboard unclosed, so the next day you find the bread has gone stale.

Omg.....that is super annoying. Except I don't have kids. Which is not really annoying for me until I need someone to blame for stuff.

Waiting is randomly annoying.

Pfft! I've got a kid to tend to, ya know.
Yes, and it helps if you've got more than one of them for the purpose of blame-placement.
Like reaching for the orange juice, and finding an empty carton has been put back inside the refrigerator.
D@mn kids. Oh, wait! I'm the only one in the house that drinks orange juice. D@mn kids.

Yes they pour it out when you aren't looking.

Why would they do such a thing?
Unless it's to be randomly annoying.

Yes. There is a hand book.

What?! There is a Kid's Handbook?! Why didn't you tell me? I guess I should have known. Until last week, I thought Moms had the market cornered on handbooks - there is a whole 15 chapter section in the Moms Handbook on how to randomly annoy your kids. Apparently, randomly annoying your Mom is also discussed in the kids handbook...
I texted LX last week to tell her about my dream...just to randomly annoy her for my own amusement because it was about her second least favorite thing - creepy dolls (evil clowns are her first, and if I could find an evil clown creepy doll to give her, she'd probably disown me). In my dream, my creepy doll would not die no matter what I did to it - burned off its hair, cut off its limbs, and threw it in a basement closet with a few other evil basement dwellers already locked there, after taking away its shiny, red acoustic guitar.
She texted back that she had a dream that she was getting married "like tomorrow" and had no time to plan, so she set up in the park across the street, and for music they only had a record player in a pizza box that caught on fire.
I told her it was the creepy doll who set the pizza box afire with its flaming hair in retaliation for not getting to play at the wedding because she had no shiny, red acoustic guitar.
She won the random annoyance award: She never told me who she was marrying, and why it had to be "like tomorrow".
The creepy-@ss doll shoulda burned the Kids Handbook instead of the pizza box.

I think you know who. And Why. It's better not to know these things. You can only scrub so much from your brain at a time and the creepy doll thing is taking too much time.
Randomly annoying:
When your significant other and your parents argue over something completely dumb. And then try to drag you into it.

Never had to do the stuck-in-the-middle thing, but I can see how it'd be annoying.
This morning's randomly annoying incident: 1.) Letting the dog out and hearing the lock on the door click behind you. 2.) Trying the door, though you know it's locked because you just heard it click. 3.) Trying the back door though you know it's locked because you locked it right before letting the dog out the front door. 4.) Trying the windows and seeing the spare key on the kitchen table with a note saying to put it back in the garage where it is supposed to be kept but was moved by daughter who never returned it to garage herself. 5.) Checking the garage anyway just for the hell of it, although you know there's no spare key there because it's on the kitchen table where you just put it this morning to remind you to put it back in the garage. 6.) Grabbing an awl type thing while your in garage to try to pick the lock. 7.) Contemplating breaking a window while you're picking the lock because you know the awl-thing will never unlock the door. 8.) Deciding against breaking a window because then you will have to explain to spouse why you broke the window after he reminded you to put the spare key back a week ago. 9.) Putting the dog inside the garage while you try to think because she's bugging the cr@p out of you, running around, wondering what the hell you're doing, and why you're not letting her in the house. 10.) Hearing the neighbor boy and his girlfriend behind the fence, because they are both obviously skipping school, and are letting out his dog. 11.) Calling over the fence to ask delinquent neighbor boy to borrow phone. 12.) Hearing silence because neighbor boy is debating whether to answer because he's obviously not supposed to be home from school with his girlfriend while his parents are at work. 13.) Acting like you don't know neighbor boy is not supposed be at home alone with his girlfriend while they are supposed to be at school when he finally answers. 14.) Using delinquent's phone to call friend to ask if she can drive you to daughter's school. 15.) Standing in the front office of school with hair soaking wet because you've been out in the snow for half an hour, with teeth not yet brushed, in pajama top (at least you threw on jeans before letting dog out), no bra but thankfully a sweat shirt over pajama top, and ask school secretary to page daughter. 16.)Ask daughter for her spare key that she keeps on her backpack because other daughter who is away at college forgot to put your spare back where it belongs while she was home.
17.) Daughter asking why you locked yourself out of the house.

Went through long drawn out conversion process to update existing forum to new software only to have everything fail miserably. Even though I very carefully saved all the old information I find that the old forum no longer works either!

That last one would have done me in. Or her. It's a toss up at that point.
Randomly Annoying:
Getting the silent treatment from childish fellow employee who thinks I'm the one that got her in trouble with the boss.

Not a good week, is it? Are the stars out of alignment?

Hhmm...the next full moon is not for a couple of weeks; that's when it seems things tend to get weird. I don't know anything about the stars, but my car might be out of alignment.

I got my latest pay statement - the deposit is tomorrow. The January 1% pay raise changed my tax bracket and I now have less take home pay than before I got the raise.
