As in the cereal? Multiple goodbyes? Or some strange computer lingo? Cuz the first two are spelled with two "e"s.

I thought Icarus had been used in Xena but I can only find him in fanfic. They did have him in Hercules though.

russet - as in a color, an apple, or a potato; pick your fancy

There you go again! That's a color? You can walk into Home Depot and tell them "Give me a gallon of Behr in russet" and they're not going look at you like you're nuts and hand you a potato?

There you go again, being color-challenged! Russet was a color long before it was a variety of potato. It is a reddish-brown color. I know this one - it falls in the Horticultural Trivia category.
Luther Burbank was one of those guys in the select "Fathers of Modern Horticulture" group. He was a botanist during the late 1800s/early 1900s who developed hundreds of new varieties of plants. You know Shasta daisies, right? A Luther Burbank creation.
Another creation of his was the Burbank Russet potato, (now called simply russet potatoes) which he named for the color of the potato's skin.

I've heard of Shasta soda - is that close?
He should have called it the 'Burbank' instead - I wonder if he was color blind.
