....for those times when one just isn't enough. (eye-roll)
It goes kinda like this - take the last few letters of the word, (at least two letters; more is fine too), to make a new word.
Example:
Uncle
Clean
Animal
Malace
Ready? First word is...
Winter
First Word Is . . . ardent
Thank you.
And since we are so ardent in our pursuit of weight loss, there's a very good chance we could drop more than three!

Like I said, the amount of weight loss can exceed three pounds - you have more than a month. You should consider doing away with that evil coffee - it's holding you back. (Said only when many states away and out of hearing distance.)

Essentially, we're in trying mode - last time I got on the scale I had gone up 2 ounces but I know the problem. Or at least I know my problem. You see, the last time I was in the BX I was picking up some gentle paper and wrap, and right in front of me on an end cap was the just-put-out displays of Easter Eggs. Raspberry, Strawberry, Cookie Dough, Coconut Cream, and I was overcome by a severe lust. I haven't been back to the BX - which should be read as "I haven't eaten all the eggs I bought, yet." I’m sure I read someplace that coffee pounds go straight from the can to the can – aka the hips - and the only way to starve them out is to change your behavior and let them dehydrate. {Actually}, coffee has something like 2 calories per cup unless you add sugar and/or creamer. But you really should avoid your local coffee shop if you enjoy lattes and frappuccinos, since these drinks can have as many as 670 calories each -- a definite weight loss no-no.

Do you like cookie dough? Seems like they put cookie dough in everything - ice cream, cereal, chocolate, blah, blah, blah...bluck.

Oh yeah.
The secret to losing weight is to select a reasonable course of action which includes both modification of current dietary practices and increased activity. Fat is stored caloric energy; expended energy needs to exceed caloric intake. This can include tricking the body into failing to convert excess energy into stored fat by timing intake with exercise routines causing the body to fail to store the energy believing it is required for replenishing muscle mass (cells) expended during stressful periods.

The trouble with loosing weight is food. You can quit cigarettes: you can't stop breathing, and you can't stop eating.

We have a mishmash of dieting options - and one or another may work well for one of us. For me, slight modifications to what I'm already eating has worked, mostly because in lieu of having to deny myself things I want I'm enjoying pretty much normal meals. I have, however, tried to back off late night snacking.

You did it! A whole month of weaving words into diet related posts. Or is the deadline March 31st here too?

I'm going to see if I can get to the end of March with this - hence you'll continue to see more comments about how we are not as heavy as we were at the beginning even if I have to get a bit obscure.

We are on the verge of scaling the heights of weight loss! That's sort of a mixed metaphor, or reverse psychology, something like that. Right? No? I don't care - we are dropping the last vestiges of Christmas feasts past! In my case, plurality is reality. {If you prefer}you can use vestiges as the word in place of verge.

We will all manage our weight loss as best as we can - and some of us will celebrate by going out to eat.

It wouldn’t surprise me to hear that with the bad weather trapping you inside, you’re getting restive to get back to your exercise and weight loss regimen.

Is it too soon to take a gander at the scale? It may be - but I'm getting close to being back to my low weight. To answer the question - sort of - yes I put several pounds back on over the weekend.

As the saying goes, I’m not touching that one! We can erect a statue to our remarkable weight loss records when we're done - but until then, commemorating our achievements will only be a dream.
