Can't remember off the top of your head? Hair, of course. As in thinning.
LMAO. Hubs was singing along to a song recently, and I had to interrupt. Uh, no dear. That's not the way it goes. The sentence is, 'Anxiety's attacking me and my air is getting thin', not 'my hair is getting thin'. Gotta wonder what's on his mind as he grows older.

ARGH! Half a *@* post done and the electricity flickers off and on. Do you think I saved what I had written as I typed along, which would have been the intelligent thing to do?
Grrrrrr. Sigh.

Been There... Done That!
One time it was a manuscript I was working on... most of the time I write by hand and then type it up later, but not that time, nooooooo... I was on a roll and it was flowing... and it was GOOD!!! And it had me on the edge of my seat with excitment, thrilled with myself and the world... and then it was all gone. I had to redo it... only I didn't remember eveything, and I had lost that "something" that was flowing through me. It's best to save every few minutes.

Yeah, I save every few minutes. The one time I don't and I'm given a reminder of why I do.
I got most of it back, but like yours, it's not quite the same. And I'm tired of looking at it. So expect it in it's revised from in a few minutes. Funny though, it didn't get any shorter. LMAO.

I also sometimes let it slide and then am sorry I did. I plan on getting one of those battery backup power surgers... then if the lights flicker my computer won't be affected.

I really don't do enough of anything important on my computer for one of those. But for the clocks! That'd be cool. I'm flashing twelve all over the house.

Scrappy, never again make fun of me for being too wordy. Three posts? You are now the Word Record Holder in this story.

Well this would be my first time with something like that. How did yours work out for you? Got any pointers...uh hints? If it's too hard for you I understand. There were a lot of purrfectly good words being wasted around here.

Yes..waste not, want not. Use them up, wring them out, and hang them up to dry.

Seems to me like Scrappy's post perfectly solidifies the concept of reincarnation as a central theme in the story. The threads are being tied together now -- secrets will soon be revealed.
As soon as we make some up, that is! ;D

We have to make them up as we go along? Darn, I guess I can stop checking the mailbox. I've been waiting for a script.

Hi Becka. Hi Dixie. Hi Joxie...okay, Joxie you're here all the time, but not here in the story, and it's nice you're here now. Huh?
Cool ladies.

Thanks Phalon. Well I still have the blue screen of death and just don't have the money to fix the computer right now, but I'm back at school so I can use the computer here. So hopefully I will be able to post more often. Unless professors decide to pile on the work. Write now I'm working on my own theory on human nature. Very hard. At least I think.

I have some very good news. I'm am cured of the blue screen of death. It feels great to just sit in my packer room and be able to do things on my own computer. I should be able to post more often as long as my professors keep the work to a medium. It's great to be back.

Hiya Becka. Glad to hear you're back up and running. Coming attcha in a post, and ARGH!...it took me forever to dig back through this thread to find your character description.
Got it though...tall, black hair, violet eyes....ok, that'll work. Off to write.
Later.

Hey Joxie. A new home. Cool.
I want to thank Scrappy for providing her character’s dialogue in my last post. The dialogue in the post all took place via pms one night, when I threw a question at her as “Phalon”. The conversation between the two characters in the post is the result of “Scrappy” answering that question and others that followed.
Too fun – and thanks for playing along, Scrappy. Phalon’s questions were kind of vague, I know, but I wanted it that way. A case of the writer assuming the reader will know what the writer is thinking, and you read me too well. If the questions had been any clearer, I know you would have known which direction I was heading since we’ve talked about the possibilities, (yes, folks – much plotting behind the scenes goes on. BOLL – not that most of it will actually take on post form), and tailored Scrappy’s answers as such. Ok…so I had no clue where the conversation would lead either, but I know where I wanted it to finish. Anyway, I wanted the conversation to sound as if the characters were figuring things out along the way, instead of the way it might sound if you knew where I was leading. Huh?
And I’m still LMAO, at how I could take a relatively short conversation, add a few details and description and end up with a post that exceeded that 10,000 word maximum. Remind me if we ever do this again that our characters’ conversation ought to be limited to one word questions and answers.

Aw Joxie. I feel kinda bad Phalon's gone and left you with a bunch of crazy people - the sinsister Ms. Peacock, Freebird who sees ghosts where no one else does, and Guru, who now seems to be questioning even his own sanity.
And Phalon is now seeing evil where evil should not be.
It seems the House is taking its toll on its prisoners....uhm...I mean its visitors.

Hey Scrappy...LX was reading to me from Falling Up this morning, and we came across this one. I posted it in the scrolls too, but thought you might enjoy, knowing how much you like Shel. Writer Waiting by Shel Silverstein
On this shiny new computer - There just isn't nothin' cuter. It knows everything the world ever knew. And with this great computer I don't need no writin' tutor, 'Cause there ain't a single thing that it can't do. It can sort and it can spell, It can punctuate as well. It can find and file and underline and type. It can edit and select, It can copy and correct, So I'll have a whole book written by tonight (Just as soon as it can think of what to write.)
