*attaches tow rope to bike, grabs bag of mini chocolate peanut butter eggs, revs up bike and takes off for the woods*
Think if I leave a trail of peanut butter eggs back to the house we can find our way?

*quickly wiping peanut butter smudge from cheek*
(Mrrrffff) What peanut butter eggs? *chugging some milk* I see no peanut better eggs. Uh uh... Not me. Use your GPS, Scraps... heh. Much more reliable than leaving a trail of peanut butter eggs out in the open like that. You never know when a wandering bard suffering from PMS and Reeses Pieces cravings may gobble up your trail... er, I mean cross your path.

ARGH! See, Scrappy?! How many *&%$ing times have I told you that throwing chocolate is sacrilege? And to just toss it on the ground like that; leaving it covered in dirt to be picked up by any Tom, Dick, or Malory that comes along.
You have much to learn, Fair Hag. I see I've my work cut out for me.

Wow... we're creating a novel... I wonder when we should start chapter two? I suppose when we reach 1500 posts.
BTW: I'm out of the tunnel... now I just have to figure out where to go from here. Will post it when I get us in a good place... if there is such a place at Whoosher.

Well, I meant out of the hole I was digging... we're still in the maze of tunnels... so I'll post it when I get us completely out in the open somewhere. The somewhere is what I'm working on.

Hmmm... Scrappy... you're forgetting about the super duper secretly unknown of hot tub spa (the one with the plasma TV that only has that one channel... X-Tv... All Xena, All the Time). That is definitely a safe room... but I'm not tellin' where it's at... hehehe.
Here's a random thought that just skittled through... do you remember when M-Tv actually stood for Music Television... and that's what they played?

They say that people who are lost tend to go in circles... so I figured I probably worked my way back to the beginning again. Now Phalon can feed the beast that is growling within her tummy.

We're out?! In a manner of speaking, I guess. Right behind you Joxie....as soon as I can think of something to write. Thanks for leading the way.
Yes, food first. Hot tub, second. Oh Tami...there are no secrets kept hidden in this house....for long anyway.
Uhm....what'll take to bribe you? More chocolate?.

Well... I hope you and Guru managed to keep up, and that you didn't keep on going and miss the light showing the way out. I don't remember shutting the door behind me, but ya never know about whether someone/something else did.

Dixie! Glad to finally see a post from you. Always a pleasure to read what you write. Hope all is well in the Motherland.
Scrappy, that picture is just too cool. I love the way the color appears on the black background. Simply eerie.

Hey Joxie – love the picture of the house up at the top of the story; all looming and sinister. Exactly how I pictured it. House of Usher?
LMAO at my last story entry. I actually had to add a bunch of filler just to get what amounted to a complete post; I could have gone with just three or four sentences to get the point across, but that seemed to easy; too UnPhalonesque.
But I am in the dining room now, Scrappy. Not looking for a fight; but ready if you’re so inclined. Fair warning though: just don’t get between me and the food.
And so….I’ve run into what I feel is a tiny bit of a dilemma. (get ready; get set – roll eyes.) Guru and I had talked about some ideas concerning our characters, and had somewhat of a plan going. It was set in motion while he was still present and posting, but since he’s not been around for a while, I’m kinda stuck on what to do with it. Continue, or scrap it?
I’ve pretty much continued best I can, one-sided. Not many specific details were discussed; just general ideas; but I've got some tricks up Phalon’s sleeve along the lines of those ideas - sort of - that…hhmmm…might be interesting.
I feel though, that there will come a time as the story progresses that, if he does not return, and if I stick with what we discussed, I may have to do something that is “taboo” to some writers of collaborative stories: write emotion of another’s character.
This never bothered me personally: someone writing for my character; as long as it fits in with Phalon’s general character traits, but I know some people view it as being unacceptable.
In addition, I find it hard to drag around a character whose writer is not present. Entertained the thought of leaving him in the tunnel, captured by whatever was chasing Joxie as Phalon escaped, but thought that may be too much of a hole to write himself out of, should he return. So for the time being, until I decide what to do, or hopefully, until Guru returns, I’ve tucked him neatly away up in his room. Shhhh….he’s sleeping.
Just thought I’d throw this out there. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Ooops... And thanks on the liking of the house I used at the top... It took many a google search to find the right one. Very few of the other houses I found looked good as a negative. I tried to find more of a castle... or a huge mansion... one with gargoyles... gave up on the gargoyles and went with the image that looked the creepiest in the negative effect.

No, but he has, hasn't he?
And there is kinda somewhat of a feeling he may not be back...nothing concrete; just a vague assumption.

Dontcha though....trust me...great lengths have been gone to to find out if he will be returning. The general consensus...probably not. I hate that.

S'ok about the gargs, Joxie... they don't like their pictures taken, anyhow... when they saw the cameras being set up, they flew off to the granite quarry to play ; )
As for Guru... I say keep him in his bedroom for now... if anyone hears anything, the house can gobble up his character or her can be sent back through the wrinkle in time to Phalon's time... sorta of a Ghostbuster Geek in the Zena Scrolls' Court ... heh... too early for me to try wit today.

Yeah, but they're not on the house, and I'm too lazy to shrink them and add them to the image... I'm gonna pretend that they're on the other side of the house and that there's no need for them to guard the rear. Perhaps there are protective statues on the grounds of the backyard...

Damn, Scrappy....couldn't you have least let me finish eating before you had to go and throttle my neck? Sheesh, now it's hard to swallow...but I'm sure I'll manage.
Oh - and the last time we had your bike out, I think we used most of the gas, and we confused that poor gas station attendent so badly that he never got around to refueling. I don't think you'll get far.
