How about author reality shows? I’d check out those, and I’d stick with them if they’re not dramatic crap like the others. How about writing contest shows? See who is the one to win a book deal. And script/screen writer reality shows. See who gets a show/movie/play/etc. deal. - Give lessons on these shows to help teach the viewers, as well as the contestants. Have a side contest for the viewers, so one lucky viewer has a chance to win along with the show’s winning contestant. Have a show that follows around a famous writer for any amount of time. (Depending on how long that writer will put up with cameras in their life.) The show can do one writer for the whole season, or several writers per season. Or have shows for writers who will go for their own series. - Have shows dealing with fan fiction writing/writers. (Writing fan fiction for works that allow it. Or for works in the public domain.) Do a contest, and the winner gets a tie-In book contract. Do one for script/screen writers, and the winner gets a spin-off contract as one member of the writing team. Have the contestants take works in the public domain to rework into a new story, and winner gets a book or TV series deal. Or both. - Do the same for artists. Crafters. Etc.
