... Walk into an Execution Chamber. Wow, that's a long title. The main storyline of this episode deals with a man whose execution Allison witnessed, well, sort of. But this post is pertaining to the secondary plot, which involves her oldest daughter Ariel. [SPOILERS BELOW] Would you have confronted her.....?In this episode, Allison's daughter Ariel has a crush on her science partner. When she meets the boy, she has a premonition that he'll hurt Ariel. When Allison meets his mother, she sees into her past when a cop tried to rape her when she was pregnant with the boy, and she shot him in self defense. Ever since, she had been running from the law with her son, under an assumed name. The next day, Allison confronts Sarah/Melissa, telling her that if she just turned herself in and told her side of the story, they might understand. The day of the science fair, Ariel's crush is nowhere to be seen, and when Allison later calls, their phone has been disconnected. Obviously, Sarah/Melissa was spooked by Allison's confrontation and decided it was time to move on. In a way, it turned out to be a self-fulfilling prophecy. Afraid that Ariel's crush would cause her heartache, the thing that did it was him moving away as a result of Allison's confrontation with his mother. What would you have done in her position?
