Oh man, people, did you watch The Soup on E! tonight? he said that 'Ghost Whisperer' was #1 last Friday! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! No, please, No!! Jo is supposed to be #1, she's the BEST!! SHE'S the best, not a skinny wishbone! Jennier Love Hewitt is nothing more than a no-talent!! SHE can't be #1!!! We can only pray that this is just a one shot deal! It's a 'Medium' wanna-be!! I only hope Jo comes back and becmes #1 like she's SUPPOSED to be in a few more weeks!! Jojo

I expected to hate Ghost Whisperer, but actually turned out liking it. Lucky for me, I just got my new VCR up and running, so I can record one while watching the other on my nights off. On nights that I work, though, I'll have to choose which one to record, so I'll probably alternate. Primetime Ratings: Weekend HighlightsMonday September 26 6:38 PM ET Show | Households | Million Viewers | 18-49 Yr-olds | Ghost Whisperer | 7.4/13 | 11.39 | 2.9/10 | Dateline | 6.3/11 | 8.58 | 38% | Supernanny | 4.2/8 | 6.17 | 2.1/7 |
I don't get that whole 2.9/10 stuff. If you divide 2.9 by 10, you only get 29%. If that's what that means, then Dateline ranked #1 among 18-49 year olds and Supernanny ranked #2 in that demographic. Since Eva Longoria was on Dateline on the 23rd, it would make sense for them to rank high. As long as Jo has enough ratings to stay on the air, that's what really matters, right?

I expected to hate Ghost Whisperer, but actually turned out liking it. You didn't watch the two hour 'Supernanny' premiere?!?! Lucky for me, I just got my new VCR up and running, so I can record one while watching the other on my nights off. On nights that I work, though, I'll have to choose which one to record, so I'll probably alternate. Oh, pick Jo!!! PLEASE pick Jo!! The Neilson ratings don't count VCR tapings, only the shows you watch live. So if you must watch both, pick JO!!! Tape Hewitt. Jo'll get the ratings and stay!! I love her, my heart would break if my new favorite show goes off the air forever!! As long as Jo has enough ratings to stay on the air, that's what really matters, right? But the question is how much is enough? Networks have a nasty reputation for kicking shows of the air if there's even a slight downfall ratings wise. May I point out how quickly they dropped 'Head Cases' after only two eps? I only hope this ep of Supernanny did better. I mean, who was on Dateline Certainly not a Despirate Housewife. (thank God) Hopefully the ratings did better. Oh, PLEASE say they did. This show's the highlight of my Friday! Oh, to add insult to injury, check out what this idiot said about Jo on the IMDB... If she's so good with discipline problems and getting families to eat healthy etc why is she so large herself? How about that? Add to that the fact that Hewitt is a toothpick. (come ON, have you SEEN her! Eat, Jenny, eat!)..and there you have it! Now I REALLY want Jo to triumph cause she's so pretty, she could put that big mouth to shame!! Like I said, pick Jo! The Neilson's will count you if you watch Jo. Jo frost 4-ever!! Jojo

It's all hubby's fault. Nielsen ratings only count for people with the box, or for those keeping a Nielsen diary. It won't affect anything if I watch Ghost Whisperer and tape Supernanny, since I don't have the box or the diary. But if I do get picked to keep a diary again, I'll be sure to write in Supernanny as the one I watch and Ghost Whisperer as the one I tape. FOX is notorious for dropping good shows, and they do it all the time. They don't seem to get the concept that some shows take a while to catch on, and if network bigwigs had their mentality about the original Star Trek, well, need I say more? I'm not saying that Head Cases is a good show since I've never seen it and have even heard that it sucked, but since Supernanny is on ABC, I expect it to have a better chance. I'll keep my fingers crossed. The guy at IMDB sounds like a troll and should be ignored, IMO. Nobody claims that Jo is a nutritionalist. She's a disciplinarian and, I believe, a child psychologist, which has nothing to do with food. The Nielsens will only count you if you have a Nielsen box or keep a Nielsen diary.

Ratings for September 30, 2005Show | Households | Millions | 18-49 | Ghost Whisperer | 7.4/14 | 10.70 | 2.6/10 | Dateline | 4.6/8 | 6.21 | 1.5/5 | Supernanny | 4.2/8 | 6.09 | 1.9/7 |
All three shows lost viewers last week, but the gap is much smaller now.
