Diane Farr of FX's Rescue Me will join the cast of CBS's Numb3rs when the crime drama returns for its second season this fall.
Diane Farr has a head for Numb3rs. The ranks of Numb3rs are growing this fall, when Rescue Me's Diane Farr joins the cast of the CBS crime drama. Numb3rs follows FBI agent Don Eppes (Rob Marrow) and his mathematical genius brother Charlie (David Krumholtz) as they combine their unique and very different skills to solve the most baffling crimes in Los Angeles. The cases depicted in the show are based on actual events, and viewers are given a rare look at the way mathematics is used in the exciting world of police work. Farr's character, a fresh graduate from the FBI Academy, joins Don and Charlie in their LA offices and aids them in their crime-solving efforts. She comes to the series to fill the space left by Sabrina Lloyd, who until recently played Don's partner, Terry Lake. Farr, who currently stars on FX's Rescue Me as the first female firefighter in a New York City firehouse, has also appeared on shows such as The Job, Like Family, The Drew Carey Show, Loveline, and Roswell.
