Did anyone happen to catch this 3 hour documentary last night on Sci Fi? This is the director of "The Sixth Sense" and "Signs" as well. Just wondering what you thought about their findings about his life. The Buried Secret of M. Night Shyamalan 180 mins. A documentary following the director as he films his 2004 supernatural thriller, “The Village.” Shyamalan agreed to give the crew unlimited access, but withdrew his support midway in a scene captured on film. Here's the link to the info on Sci-Fi site: scifi.com/mnight/main.htmlIrene

Freaky. Just freaky. But then again, Night DOES have a small role in every one of his films. So, he is somewhat of an actor. I don't buy it for a minute.
Nice publicity for the new film. It must be a dud if it needs this to jack up interest.
Kinda odd how Johnny Depp threw out the "memorized responses" and then the actor from the current film also gave them. Course, I don't believe these interviews were shown in chronological order, but juxtaposed for effect. And of course, Johnny Depp is just SOOOOO cool, he'd go along with the gag.

Furthermore, if Night's power is supposed to be concentrated in Philadelphia, wouldn't have going to NYU skewed that?

Hi MCCally, Parts of it seemed like the people were acting. The first two hours were like that but then it shifted in the third hour. The real estate woman did look spooked at the upstairs door but on further thought maybe it was because she knew a big bird was going to be coming out of the door at her. I don't disciount the information as not being a reality. But the question remains...did all those things happen to M? I mean, someone like Sylvia Brown could have told that Sci-Fi guy all about M in about 3 minutes and it would have been no big deal. She sees dead people all the time and has to sleep with a light on because she claims her bedroom is so busy at night. The story makes complete sense and I don't doubt that part. M's publicist/agent seemed like she was acting too! Maybe it was just so out of syc because it was something put together from Sci-Fi. That's the only thing I can think. And do you really think they could put on interviews that were not approved from all those people? I kinda doubt it. Yea, I didn't catch the name of the book about shaman's that he was looking at. Do you recall the name? I don't think it would hurt if he wasn't in his 30 mile radius but only that he needs to be there if his life is to work properly. I don't know. I want to read that book and need the title..... Irene ![](http://storage.proboards.com/893671/images/ynHfzksGDFmzovAOyte0.gif)
