Hello girls and boys!! I thought maybe it's time for a change in this tavern, so we've now a ship with three masts, four sails. I hope you like it... Have a nice day on our new ship and be aware of the sea sickness... hehehe

Hello, Like what you've done to the place. I hear Octopus is good for that. Have a drink on me.

Oh cool...Putting a bandana on my head...No more bad hair days!
Grabbing a lemonade from behind the bar and spiking it with some vanilla vodka...I think I will check the place out. Slowly climbing into the crows nest, trying not to spill my drink. Guess I need to invent a pirates hat with the cup holders and straws for this occasion.
Looking out over the tavern from this awefully high space shows me the decorating opportunities. That and it is a great place to drop water balloons from! hehehe

How's the weather up there, with a "birds eye"view G.P.? The only problem is getting a refill on your drink. I know I'll get some rope, a buckett, and a bell. Ring when you are ready for another and it will be sent right up to you.

Waking up with feathers in my hair...Nothing like a down pillow...oh man or is that a real bird? Grabbing the rope pulley rigged up for my drinks last night...I take off my belt and flip it over the rope and slide down to the floor below...geronimo...landing with a roll. That was cool! I wanna do it again!

Jox says we weren't going to be pirates anymore.....and just when I went and got myself all decked out at Disneyland. Real Pirate hat and everything.....guess I'll have to trade the parrot in for something else. And I suppose I should try and see if I can get my security deposit back on this thing....

too funny, scrap'! well, you know i don't care what we stay or what we become, but if we do vote to change, we could all invent our own superheroines/heros...(you could still be "pirate girl", scrap )....that way everyone could expound on their own creativity while practicing the bonds of comradeship...make sense?? just a suggestion & more credit to ilb than moi' actually, but i love it a bunch! think of the possibilities!!

we can all invent our super hero name and our own unique special power(s)... we can all work together for the greater good... who ya gonna call??!! [/font] i just love the idea......

*places large box containing unassembled parts to the pie tosser on the bar, pulls slightly crumpled large red bow out of her pocket and sticks it to the box* So...since the pirates are disbanding I might as well give this to someone who will put it to better use.

I didn't say you _had_ to become something else... but a while back a few said they were tired of playing pirates and we were discussing a new name for when the next tavern thread was started... so since this is the new thread, I was just checking to see what everyone's thoughts were.
Stay pirates? Change to something else?
If something else, we'll need to come up with a new name:
Z's Tropical Breeze Tavern & Inn Z's Gold Monkey Bar & Grill Z's Screaming Mimi Bed & Breakfast
suggestions?

Here, Scrappy. Let me get you all set up for the day before I leave for work.
A nice cushy footstool, with a big soft pillow to prop your injured leg on. A box of those bon-bon things you like...ok, so a few are missing; I had to try them, you know....just to make sure they weren't spoiled. An ice chest full of your favorite drinks....Jack, of course, and a couple of litters of Coke. Some nice relaxing music: Phalon's Pholly Vol. II, I think is the perfect choice. And a little bell to ring that no one will pay attention to when you need something.
Here, let turn the volume louder on the cd player for you.
Happy? No, no...I wasn't asking if you were. I know the pain killers are taking care of that just fine. The name of the song; a particularly soft and soothing one from Mudvayne. Fitting too; talking about tearing from the skin, and tearing from the rind, tearing from the bone........kind of like the ligament you've torn. I thought you might relate.
Rest easy; it's not often you're treated in such a queenly fashion after an act of self-admitted clumsiness. I feel for you. Really, I do. From one klutz to another.

*grabs crutch and throws it in the direction of the CD player* damn...I missed.
You are soooo helpful Phalon...thank you. Guess I’m all set up for the day. Now all I need is one of those nerfball launcher type things so I can shoot it at people who ignore the little bell thingy.
All this royal treatment wouldn’t be so bad if I wasn’t so embarrassed about how it happened in the first place. *sigh* Oh well....one of the other employees thought it was funny enough to take pictures while I was being wheeled out....pfft I can just imagine the scene when I get back....
As for the pain killers...you can have them. I broke down and took one last night. Spent the first hour trying to figure out where my head had floated off to and then the next several hours trying to get it strapped down again. Ick....didn’t like that at all. And when I got dressed this morning...all my clothes were on inside out! Must be because someone stole all my post it notes! I’ll trade you some more bon bons for the one that reminds me about proper table etiquette?

Staggering through the door with my shirttail untucked and hair all disheveled...Oh man is this week over yet? Please tell me that I don't have to wake up to an alarm or study till my eyes pop out for a couple days! Now I remember why I had a distaste for high school all those years ago. The chairs enough are enough to be considered tortuous, let alone the monotone reading of the material by the instructor. I was searching for toothpicks to hold my eyelids open half the day today.
Oh I would love a cool drink tonight...nothing too strong or I may fall asleep on the bar. I know all too well the trouble that starts when someone does that.
Heal well Scrappy.

BTG's, what happened to ya Scrappy, I can't find any reference anywhere about you injuring yourself, or how. Hope you're mending well, and will be up and about in no time at all. Ya know, it's gettin to the stage where i'm almost afraid to log on anymore, for fear of hearing anyone else has injured themself.

Sigh. Isn't it the truth, Katina. Injuries all over the place. Just remember though, that Scrappy - the fallen injured one, is the one that calls us old. Ok...so she's never called you old; only me. But...do you see me slipping to the ground and tearing ligaments? Good thing she didn't break a hip.

Your Post-It notes are being held hostage until you can learn to be nice to and respect your elders.

Yep, you're right P, gettin scary now. And anyway, what happened Scrappy, and what's the extent of your [ self inflicted? ] injuries.

Well if I'd had my post it notes in the first place I wouldn't be in trouble now....now would I?
What was it I was going to say? Oh yeah! Started a new collection.....and you are still older than me...pppbbbllllttt

Sounds like someone is pulling sombody's lig-ament. That sounds like a major owie. Once healed it will then be a ligamend or ligamended.

Well let's see.....yes on the self inflicted, but work related injury.....kinda embarrassing. I tripped over myself and fell into a gutter. Go figure...I'm always in the gutter anyway. At least mentally. No biggie...a week with my foot in the air and I'll be almost good as new.
