It's a shame that pollution has been going on for so long. Some people seem to think that as long as they pollute in someone else's back yard, they'll be fine where they are. They don't realize we're all connected, and that it will come back to them in some form.

I have a really hard time finding my air filter sizes at the stores, and if all goes well, I won’t have to deal with that problem anymore. If you have a hard time finding your filter sizes, you might want to try Filter Joy as well. Here’s a link that will give you $10 off your first purchase:

Dorothy Parker has been mentioned many times on Whoosh, and quoted often - one of Q's often used favorites of Dorothy's "What fresh hell is this?" still runs through my head every time I encounter something out-of-the-norm. I think it was a couple of years ago during Women's History Month, Joxie and I were discussing Dorothy's death and how fellow playwright and friend...and executor of Parker's will, Lillian Hellman, basically disregarded Parker's last wishes, tried to contest the will, and lost. Now, more than 50 years after she died, after spending decades on a shelf unclaimed at a crematory, in a file cabinet, and next to a parking lot in Baltimore, Parker finally returned to New York on her birthday last month. Here's the odd story of why it took so long (in The New Yorker of which Parker was one of the magazine's first writers): www.newyorker.com/culture/culture-desk/the-improbable-journey-of-dorothy-parkers-ashes?utm_source=pocket-newtab

Back before CGI when animation was all drawn by hand, I think Disney had a rather ingenious technique of creating some of their animated movie scenes.

Gorgeous! Sometimes I think about all the many places I've been and amazing things I've seen versus all the places I've never been but want to visit one day...and then there are all those places like the one in the video that I never knew existed. One big amazing world in which we live.
