Hi.
We're here at nearly the same time every day (morning for me), but rarely cross paths because I don't often venture out of Off-Topic.
Just thought I'd take a minute to say 'hi' and enjoy your day.

Wow. A topic dedicated to me. Thanks. Have a nice day too. Very nice of you to think of me Yer own thread eh? Pretty cool! Or suspicious. I'm not sure which! Anyway - hey there xenawp! I tend to live on the Off Topic board when I'm around, and you're certainly welcome to swing by when 'ere the mood hits ya. But, I'll make a point of swinging by here too. After all, the reason I came to Whoosh was because of XWP - and Gabrielle!

Suspicious?! Pfft. What are you trying to do - scare her away?
Everyone deserves to have her/his name in lights once in a while....or in the very least, have it in black and buff on a message board...unless, of course, it's the Fairly Board Mother putting it in black and buff for reasons of putting you in the corner with a dunce hat on in front of the class.
Don't ask how I know this; I just do. (Ha! Just kidding, Joxie...though there were times I think you've wondered if my head fits the dunce hat.)

This post was deleted because . . .
The Fairly Bored Mother <snipped> it in the bud.
er ... No Comment.

Heck no. xenawp7706 is fine - you're the one I'm suspicious of, and because you can't end a sentence with a preposition I had to keep typing. I guess could have said "you are the one of whom I am suspicious", but then I would have wondered if I should have said 'for who' instead of 'of whom' because who knows how to know when to say who to whom? Ya know?

I Googled 'who vs whom' and found that if you can use 'he' in the sentence it's who. And if you can use 'him' in the sentence, it's whom.
he = who
him = whom.
So . . .
she = who
her = whom

She batted her eyes at who ever she fancied? Her lips were so warm she could kiss whom ever she chose without fear? She wasn't feeling her usual self and rollled over taking the blanket - leaving whom ever it was on the other side in the cold night air?

Take out the who/whom and replace it with he/him or she/her. Which ever is correct in the sentence will depend on whether you use who or whom.
She batted her eyes at who ever she fancied?
She batted her eyes at him? - She batted her eyes at he?
She batted her eyes at whomever she fancied?
Her lips were so warm she could kiss whom ever she chose without fear?
Her lips were so warm she could kiss him without fear? - Her lips were so warm she could kiss he without fear?
Her lips were so warm she could kiss whomever she chose without fear?
She wasn't feeling her usual self and rolled over taking the blanket - leaving whom ever it was on the other side in the cold night air?
She wasn't feeling her usual self and rolled over taking the blanket - leaving him in the cold night air? - She wasn't feeling her usual self and rolled over taking the blanket - leaving he in the cold night air?
She wasn't feeling her usual self and rolled over taking the blanket - leaving whomever it was on the other side in the cold night air?
You got two out of three. Unless I screwed up. Which I wouldn't be surprised if I did. I only glanced at the 'who vs whom' page, and didn't read the whole thing. There could be exceptions I missed.

Him/whom. He/who. I never knew.
He who I never knew....but somehow ended up with the following morning. There's probably one or two of those floating around in my past somewhere, but ah....it's probably best they be forgotten, just as I've forgotten that grammar rule.
It's kinda cool, actually. I'm sure I probably learned the him/whom thing at one time, but since I've forgotten it (or can't remember ever actually learning it), I just wing it nowadays. And now I know...if only I can remember for future use.
Yes, I'm most sure we definitely have....which is probably why it's best I stick to Off-Topic because I tend to stray.
Let us get back on topic then.
Hope you're having/had a good weekend, Xenawp.

No Worries! I've got a new toy to play with. Proboards has made it possible for me to remove posts that don't belong in a thread and move them to a thread they will fit into, or add them to a new thread all their own! How cool is that? Unfortunately, I'm so used to threads getting hijacked that it no longer seem out of place. Le and I could have used this toy way back at ezWhoosh.

Want me to post something just so you can move it? I don't mind! Really. Dad told me that all the time!

OOO! New game like passing the Fruitcake. YOU pass something between threads and we're supposed to find it. Almost time for Pumpkin toss isn't it??

I guess it is getting close to pumpkin-tossing time.
And I'll save the post moving for serious topic discussion threads. Do we have serious topic discussion threads here? I don't think anything stays serious for long.

Hi there, Xenawp. I don't know where you're from exactly; I'm thinking Australia, and I'm not sure why I think that except possibly you may have mentioned it at one time. I'm pretty sure though, that you are from a country other than the U.S. Wherever you are, do you celebrate Halloween? If so, this is for you... It bounces its way across Whoosh every Halloween season. All you have to do is pass it off in a post to another member here.
